  • Dawahfilms has got another video taken off youtube that made fun of him. what do you think of that ?seeing as you make fun of people on youtube all the time but you always wanna stick up for that guy? hes a fuckin arsehole

  • Being anything but right-wing is anti-American because... ?

  • Isn't "Allah" the arabic word for God?

So saying "Allah" is God does make sense.

  • @Hasmond Yeah, if there's one realllly freaky thing about organized religion it's how they never know the difference between being fuckin aggressive or just reaching out.

  • those channels are stupid and are Islamaphobic

  • @akatsuki619itachi They are if you're the kind of moron who thinks any criticism of islam is hateful.

  • @Coughlan616 they are trying 2 make muslims turn away from their religion

  • @akatsuki619itachi And so what if they do? Why is it somehow a bad thing if people turn away from an archaic, entrenched, inflexible belief system that controls every aspect of their lives and demands the worship of an evil god?

  • @akatsuki619itachi

islamaphobia is an artificial term made up by the hate group known as the "muslim brotherhood" to demonize any criticism of islam

    you never heard of "christianitaphobia"

    or "judaiphobia"

    but there is "islamaphobia"

face it, "islamaphobia" is a false term made up by cowards who wanted any critics of their religion to be demonized, arrested and killed

  • @Mikeybetts judaiphobia? u mean anti-Semitic? and people who hate Islam are called racists but a Muslim who hates christianity/judaism is a terrorist? nice insight

  • @akatsuki619itachi

It is useless telling some dumb people about Islam. People can do some research easily make out that The Quran has not been changed while the other religious scriptures have been changed. Dont waste ur time bro.

    ;)

    Let the stupids remain stupid.

  • @imran5190 Why should that be considered a plus for Islam? So what if a religion doesn't change. That doesn't mean it's true, it just means that it cannot adapt to suit the times. This argument seems to be based on the logical fallacy that something being old somehow makes it true. If that's your line of thought, then maybe you would like Hinduism, that religion is both old and unchanging. The Vedas haven't changed in 5,000 years.

  • @imran5190 Or, if your argument is that the fewer times a text has been transcribed and translated, the truer it is, then you should like Mormonism and Scientology. The Book of Mormon has never been altered, it has the same text that it's had since it was first written down in the 19th century by none other than the prophet Joseph Smith himself.

  • @yerk3

As you said "The Book of Mormon first written down in the 19th century"

A religion which came about in the 19th century. Cool for you, not for others.

A closer look into Islam will actually clear all of your misconceptions.

Islam is the only true Religion of the world. Our scripture has not been changed or corrupted. Our Faith doesnt go against logic or scientific discoveries. We can explain our Faith unlike all the other religions.

    Peace

  • @ExposingTheLiars1 How is a religion that came about in the 19th century any different from one that came about in the 9th century? It says nothing for the veracity of either one. You claim that your religion is the "only true religion of the world," but so do the supporters of every other religion. How are your claims different from theirs?

  • @ExposingTheLiars1 You claim that your scriptures have not been changed, but that is also true of Mormonism, Scientology and Hinduism. L. Ron Hubbard's writings are little more than 40 years old, the Vedas are over 4,000 years old, and yet both are unaltered from their original text. Up to this point, all of your claims about your religion's uniqueness have been shown false.

  • @ExposingTheLiars1 Now, on the matter of Islam not contradicting science, what do you have to say about evolution? Last I checked, Islam supported the Abrahamic creation myth with Adam and Eve, a myth that is soundly disproved by literally mountains of scientific evidence in multiple fields, including biology, geology and astrophysics. Islam, like the other Abrahamic religions, stands in opposition to the last 130 years of evolutionary science. Again, not so unique.

  • @yerk3

    Why are you repeating yourself?

    lolz

    Please read my comments again.

You said "The Vedas haven't changed in 5,000 years."

The original language of the Vedas is Sanskrit, which is obsolete and hindu scholars dont even know the meaning of many sanskrit words. The Vedas teach about worshiping ONE GOD unlike what is practiced by hindus.

The Quran confirms that there were scriptures revealed to earlier civilizations but they were either corrupted or lost.

  • @yerk3

Evolution of human beings is not a fact. Its a theory.

    :)

  • @imran5190 If your argument is that Joseph Smith was not a "true" prophet, then on what grounds? What makes Smith any "truer" than Mohamed. From where I stand, both are equal in terms of credibility, which is to say, I am of the opinion that they both made it up as they went along.

  • @yerk3

    1st. I am a Muslim.

2nd. You need to first keep in mind that The Quran was revealed to an illiterate Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) 1400+ years back.

3rd. The Quran was revealed in the Arabic language over a course of 23 years.

4rth. The Quran constitutes 6400+ verses and there is no contradiction within the text nor with science in The Quran.

5th. The Quran challenged the pagans of the time to produce a chapter like The Quran (minimum 3 verses) but they were unable to do so.

  • @yerk3

6th. There are many scientific facts in The Quran. I have videos on them on my channel in a playlist called "Miracles of Islam in The Quran and Science"

7th. Any language expert will notice that The Quran comes from a single Source, A single Author, unlike the bible where we find many authors.

8th. The Quran is the only Book of its size which is memorized by millions of people from different lingual backgrounds.

  • @yerk3

    Coming to hinduism

You said "The Vedas haven't changed in 5,000 years."

The original language of the Vedas is Sanskrit, which is obsolete and hindu scholars dont even know the meaning of many sanskrit words. The Vedas teach about worshiping ONE GOD unlike what is practiced by hindus.

The Quran confirms that there were scriptures revealed to earlier civilizations but they were either corrupted or lost. So The Quran will never be corrupted or lost till the end because it is the final.

  • @akatsuki619itachi Criticizing Judaism is not antisemitic, and criticizing Islam is not racist. Racism and antisemitism are hatred of a specific kind of PEOPLE, not an ideology. Any ideology, no matter what it is, can be picked apart and criticized at will, and the elements that survive that criticism only gain strength, while the elements that are shown to be false are abandoned.

  • @akatsuki619itachi People seem to think that religion should be immune to this process. They may think that they're protecting it, but in shielding it from criticism and refusing to change elements that have been shown to be counterproductive, they make it weak and set the process in motion for it to be abandoned entirely.

  • @akatsuki619itachi Think about it. Is it racist to criticize socialism? How about free market capitalism? Is it racist to point out logical inconsistencies, hypocrisy or maladaptive elements in the works of Socrates, Kant, Descartes, Thomas Payne, Thomas Aquinas or John Locke? If your answer is no, then why not? Plenty of people live their lives by these philosophies, have very strong feelings about them, and are quite offended when they are questioned or denigrated.

  • @akatsuki619itachi If you believe that no ideology should be questioned, lest it offend someone, then you've just asked the world to stop all philosophical discourse and discussion dead. If it is racist to want Muslims to turn away from their religion, then why isn't it racist for Muslims to want Christians to turn away from their religion? Was Mohamed a racist for wanting the pagans of Mecca and Medina to abandon the gods that their ancestors had worshiped for millennia?

  • Pat Robertson is the anti-christ.

  • "You've just made twice as much bullshit for the rest of us to clear up". That's what we call bullshit entropy.

  • @TheNothingexists

Myself, 5 years ago. To tell me to STFU.

  • Is Doodoorectamy the Hebrew for circumcision?

  • @superhamzah85 No, it's fecal transplantation. Common throughout the developed world (treatment for (a) rare disease(s) I forget), I think because the gut flora has to be kept balanced or some very nasty things can happen.

  • "God be less"

    Nice turn of phrase.

  • "Zeitgeist" is atheist methadone?

I take great issue with that!

What's your problem with methadone Coughlan?

  • Hahaha.... "Go and look at the writings of Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George, or Ringo." That made my day, Richard. :)

  • Coughlan you're right about most of the topics but the Prophet Muhammad did not write the verses of the Qur'an, he could not read or write. It's also why the first surah of the Qur'an began with Iqraa (meaning read) the Prophet would memorise the surahs from the angel Jibrael (Gabriel) and recite them to his followers who would write them down and then gather all the chapters together in one book. You were right about it being done in one lifetime though.

  • Yeah, lying and fabricating to win an argument about religion is only going to cheapen your argument, and makes you just as hypocritical as the people you're trying to debate with. It's a lazy shortcut that gives the rest of us a bad name....

  • Mr Coughlan for President I say.

You speak more truths in your few minutes of videos that what I have ever seen in my lifetime in the States. I wish more people were like you.

  • Ringo was always my favorite part of the new testimony.

  • @langl1pg what? can you please rephrase that question so that it makes sense

  • @langl1pg You read that one comment and thought it represents my opinion on the whole video and my entire world view?

Stay in school, kids. Stay in school.

  • @UberLogic This is so true, he was picking on the age and the first thing I thought was HUH? That is what you are picking on? How old of a religion it is? (As if being BC made it less credible). And of course, Christianity is 600 years old than Islam! Don't let the facts get in way there, ya Pat!!!

  • Dude, you are awesome. This was so exactly true and there is nothing I hate more than willful and arrogant ignorance! Robertson is ignorant about many things, but that one is just so darn easy!!!

  • "Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George, or Ringo." Wouldnt the bible be so much better that way?

  • Poor Ned. His biggest carear mistake ever was to take that role in Deliverance.

  • this guys a legend : )

  • hahaha! That is priceless! Subbed!

  • wow great video Coughlan. this is one of the best ive seen of yours

  • Excellent video Richard.

"Try and fight bullshit with bullshit and you just end up with twice as much Bullshit."

    Amen!

  • good to see you back man, good vid

  • Coughlan, it's my understanding that "Sahi Buchari" and "Sahih Bukhari" are equivalent spellings of the same thing. The originals are Arabic so it's just a matter of how they are transliterated. Another example of the same thing is how the Muslim holy book is called the Koran, the Quran, the Qur'an, etc.

  • @JustinsSoapbox But the words sahi buchari is never used my muslims 2 refer 2 sahih bukhari. Had it ever been the case then yeh, u would indeed have a point.

Its like a muslim expert on the bible referring to the bible as byeble. It would be an epic fail would it not? The expert wud b unworthy of being called an expert. Most Jewish & christian experts on islam make such blunders that it renders people listening them to accept the very thing that its meant 2 discredit. Im one of them btw : )

  • @JustinsSoapbox For Almighty Allah's Sake, Sahi means FREAKING AWAKE, Buchari is some Indian restaurant I guess, Sahi and Sahih are not the same. Sahi means awake, Sahih means correct or also something else.

  • You forgot me man! I know plenty of the Quran :-) (albeit i am a believer- not skeptic) but hey! :-). Always got ure back.

  • 'Polish gnomes playing chess for ages in their underpants' - on the scale of 1 to awesome, this is awesome! And I'm from Poland, by the way :D

  • @ajronmejden I´m sure Stanislaw Lem wrote something about that

  • @DeHerg

Yeah, he must have :D Shame he's no longer with us...:/

  • Jeezo, man! What a gobshite. Let it go, man. It's not worth it....but, then again?

  • I have a Jihad watch. My mum got it me for Christmas.

  • you got a different pad to live in....looks better

  • @TheGreatestProject

"Jesus, as a deity is mythological thus an archetype would have to apply"

...and that assertion works without having to add brightly colored lights or marching bands.

Is there a correlation between the persona Jesus and the personas of previous religious icons? I would have to say that the answer is an unqualified, YES.

It is not this assertion that is the issue, but the erroneous and irrelevant hype that has ended up being attached to it.

  • @TheGreatestProject

"Do you not understand the meaning of archetypes?"

Indeed I do, and you can't invoke an archetype retroactively.

If the event wasn't special at the time, you can't then invoke a different but similar form of torture/execution and apply an archetype which didn't exist then to associate a relationship.

Because the same statement you just made for Heroes, also applies to the symbolic end they meet.

  • @TheGreatestProject

If an assertion is presented in a context that it is literal, then if it is not, then the assertion isn't valid.

In the common perception, crucifixion is misrepresented as specifically special when it was not.

The claim then that something which was parallel and also not special, can be equivocated to crucifixion and made special by extension then is flawed in basic premise.

and that is what I mean by being spectacularized in misrepresentation for popular appeal.

  • @TheGreatestProject

    A strawman argument.

I never said... and have repeatedly pointed out that I have never said, that their aren't parallels, but your argument perfectly illustrates for me, that the representations made, are conflated into something which they aren't.

To make a claim for Crucifixion is an appeal to emotion and the emotional context of crucixion, not the parallel of a similar yet earlier form of death by torture. It is a tabloid tactic, not reporting.

  • See, this is what I don't understand. He's bashing Islam for being old (granted, not as old as he says it is), but is the shit he believes not old? How old does something have to be before it starts to get ridiculous, Pat? For that matter, why does something being old make it inherently ridiculous? Fuckin' simpleton.

  • @TheGreatestProject

"Which parallels are you referring too though?"

I'll have to assume you've been napping.

You can either read the thread back or not.

There have been parallels that I've aggressively defended to Bossman, and yet I have also agreed that many of the parallels have been stretched beyond recognition, and others have indeed been fabricated or invoked by the reinvention of language similar to your Crucifixion assertion.

It is a tabloid, not a documentary.

  • @DeathofSpeech "It is a tabloid, not a documentary."

    I like your description.

  • @TheGreatestProject

So in other words, for your assertions to be 100% requires that the language be elastic and inexact.

My objection to the verity of the claim made in the movie are not that there aren't parallels, but that the claims have been sensationalized by the use of inexact and elastic standards of language.

    Thanks.

  • @TheGreatestProject Becaus most representations of crosses in pagan religons are fakes thats why because it was exevccution method by romans therefore a fake. Unles you are going to argue the romans wheee time travellers.

  • WOW THE DRIVVLE BELOW MY COMMENT CAUSED ME TO ACTUALLY LOSE INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT.

  • Well obviously when they said Muhammad was taken up to heaven on a horse, they meant he was taken away in a silver vehicle. The use of the word "horse" is a clear allusion to the fact that future generations would rate these vehicles by "horsepower." Another uncannily precise and accurate prophecy! Masallah!

You just have to interpret it right.

  • I am 100% sure Pat mis spoke and does not really believe that

  • @Heto75 Which means he is still an idiot cos he embraces something older than Islam

  • @Heto75 Even if he said BC and meant AD I am pretty sure that it was the 7th century.

  • Your going to revert to Islam one day..not now. soon.

  • @tiger9992011 £50 says i dont

  • loved it

  • I have had many many arguments about the veracity of the claims in Zeitgeist pt 1. You wouldn't believe the amount of atheists who are more than willing to eat that bullshit up. As atheists we should be skeptical and suspicious of EVERYONE'S claims. Don't get caught up in someone's bullshit. Always research.

  • that's exactly how I felt about Zeitgeist.

  • @TheGreatestProject

I'm going to allow you to present substantiation for the claim being actually true.

Portions of them have some validity, and I've defended them.

Others appear to be sensationalist fabrications, for example... 12 disciples. There were 4 demi-gods in one case, and 16 metalsmiths in another case but no 12, and no "disciples."

Crucifixion had not been invented yet...

The movie mixes valid with fabricated elements dishonestly and with prejudice.

  • @TheGreatestProject I said the first Zeitgeist, not the first part of the first Zeitgeist.

  • you guys should have sex and then post it on youporn
