WTF was that? 3 beeps, trans am takes off....realizes your not racing so he lets off, then you downshift and blow by him? Get it right and line them up the right way and then we'll see what car is actually faster.

You didnt race him when he was along side you,you punch it after he lets off,and think it s a race. If his car runs like shit you may have a chance but,tuned correctly it will win.The hp is under rated from the factory,GM wouldnt want any vette owners to be jealose.

@MDKcolt a stock 350 auto GTA runs 15.5 seconds. a stock 305 manual GTA runs 15.9. A stock Turbo 2 runs 14.9. the proof is in the statistics. Ive been to the track ..14.5 @98mph.

@MDKcolt Now lets do some math. The BEST GTA would be the 1992 with the L98 350 tpi (and an automatic lol). It made a measly 240hp out of 5.7 liters. At its lightest it was a 3,460 lb fatass. Now lets look at the Turbo 2 RX7. It came equipped with a measly little 1.3 liter engine that pumped out a very impressive 202 hp. It was only available with a 5 speed manual transmission, and it only weighed 2,625 lbs. 50/50 weight distribution, and you can actually see over the hood. The turbo 2 WINS

@MDKcolt wait a sec...now ur comparin apples to oranges. a 97 ws6 is a legit car. it makes real power, and has a 6 speed option. This vid is of a 3rd gen t/a and these cars are simply garbage. low power, heavy, poor handling cars.

@bomexsaturn Ricers are always so cocky,They talk after they put at least 5 grand into the car. Go up against a third gen with your stock straight v4 or w.e you're packing. You will lose. Leaf blower chink motors have no torque. You need at least a turbo to even keep up with a STOCK Third gen.

Lets take a zr1 for example car is worth at least 100,000 less than a nissan gt-r and it still kills it on a straight line and on a track. If you ain't got no torque;you ain't going no where. 1.3 liters is like a sippy cup. You're all about fuel economy and how small you can make your cars. The japs just copied USA. Henery Ford was the original car maker and assembly line creator. Japs just watched and copied. Anyone can do that.

@jimmykudo23 my 1.3 liter gets 12 mpg stock lol...my 78 f250 with a 460 has alot more torque than my rx7 and isnt near as fast. power to weight ratio is a key factor, and gearing, and aerodynamics, and suspension, and tires, hp, and tq. its a combination of numerous things. apparently you know nothing about cars....we can go back and forth arguing about muscle beats rice/rice beats muscle. the bottom line is that the rx7 in this video is a faster car than the trans am in this video.
