My mother loves your mehndi designs. She has shared this with all of her family and friends and she is hoping to be as excellent as you one day.

She has recently joined a Mehndi class & has been watching your videos to inspire her and get her started. She did at least 'half' of one of your designs on my hand and it turned out great, better than expected.

Would you say this design was easy to do?

@Jessieboo1991 - To be honest... no it wasn't... It looks like easy one - coz it contain the basic patterns from traditional arabic designs but... as close 2 the traditional things as harder 2 do :)

I really liked it - coz it was different - and I connected in this design few things... flowers - in arabic style, lines, spirals and the oter spirals which I made look similar 2 peacock feathers - these with thicker borders.

My conception was 2 create something fresh using tradition as base.

@aishwaryamelia Yeah I figured it wasn't as easy as it looked. I have a henna kit but I don't wanna use it just yet cause I'm not that great at it so I've been practicing. I sketch all the time anyways but doing it with henna is different. Very very very hard. lolz I wish you lived near me I'd just go to you. lolz

@Jessieboo1991 - Ma advice: practise as much as U can. Later U will feel that 'weird' feeling like: I know I must do mehandi now, and I know it will be of (for example) flowers. That U will get feeling like inspiration - need - 2 do mehandi and U will know it will be great design. Do U draw on paper designs? or on hand before applying henna? I advice 2 draw on paper... - ok, but not on hand... each hand has different shape and same design can look totally different on Ur or someone's hand.

@aishwaryamelia thanks and yeah Im practicing on paper for now but once I feel ready Ima do it on my hands. I actually paint a lot. It's one of my hobbies painting and sketching so lines and stuff are easy for me to grasp but its different when using a henna cone. I love traditional designs as well. And I LOVE peacocks. lolz That was what I liked best about your design is that it incorporated peacock feathers. :) I will keep practicing on paper for now. (^_^)
