Oh my god!! I gave up hunting forever. Can not kill an animal, unless it was attacking me. But to see this King of the Jungle, have never touched Earth before. There is just something so visceral and primal about his actions. Almost like he was afraid to touch the ground. Hurray, he is out of that minuscule confined cage.

Alot of people don't relize what they do to train circus animals. Look up a video how they train a circus elephant. It's horrible, "Trainers" use long sticks with a sharp hooks at the end of it to get a elephant to move its feet

It's just been announced (24/06/2011) that here, in the UK, the government are to ban all wild animals in circuses. It comes after a long battle and was helped tremendously by the footage shot by Animal Defenders, of circus trainers savagely beating elephants. Let us hope, that one day all other countries will eventually show their compassion and follow suit in outlawing such cruel victorian 'entertainment'.

You ought to see what the Chinese did... They had an act where a Lion mounts a horse and rides it. And then a Tiger has his turn on the horse. Many were turned off and horrified, but I thought it was impressive that they even managed to teach the cats and horse to do that.

Well, of course. Didn't you read that the lion had spent most its life in a cage? You can't just release the poor old thing back into the wild, it wouldn't survive. Unfortunately, because of human greed, the beautiful creature will have to spend the rest of its life cared for by humans-- fortunately in a good place, unlike so many other unlucky ones still in circuses and roadside zoos. This is why it's important NOT to go to places like that.

Not sure where this is took place. Maybe Turpentine Creek in Arkanss. Big Cat Rescue (Tampa) does a great job with its lions/ tigers but this is not from there.

I am so happy for this one lion, but there are many more still in little cages. We should ban any so called source of entertainment; e.g. circuses or movies, that really imprison and train/abuse animals to make a show. Entities like "Ringling brothers" should go out of business and held liable for all the days/years that they kept these poor animals away from their natural home.
