After hearing the results of the winners, I hope you realize, the contest was never geared towards gay couples (not saying they couldn't have applied). First off how about all those men and women who have children when they arent ready for the responsibility? I would 100% rather gay parents who are ready have a child then any man and woman who are not.

@TheUFOnetwork Maybe you wouldn't be offended by something like this but I can see where other people would. I myself am surprised that someone would say what he said the way he said it. Simply put different people have different feelings about different things. I'm not offended by it simply surprised. (con't) I have a relative who has also had to bury a 10month old child and the couple has not been able to have another baby since. I heard this on my way to work this morning, I felt like I was living in the Southern States... Get real Keith... I hope you don't have kids, and if you do, WOW social services please collect them due to gross bigotry and anti-gay feelings. We shouldn't allow people like this to have kids as they will just pass on there way of life. This morning I was sick from shame in a town I love to live in.

The sad thing is, this is the Ottawa mentality, we have a very...quiet...lgbt community for the size of our city. when bank becomes the village will be a huge step forward for us. guys like this will stand and protest and they can go fuck themselves.

@EmuTheGreen I would like to say that I disagree with this being the "Ottawa mentality". Sure people like Keith here exist, but there are plenty of people who live in Ottawa who have absolutely no problem with bisexual/gay people. However, the negative sure does make a larger impact than the positive, so I can see how it would be easy to feel that way.

@wangwtfletmesignup Compared to other cities in Ontario, we have a very quiet LGBT population, because homophobia has taken significantly longer to fade out here. I'm not saying that everyone in Ottawa is a biggot, just that Ottawa is a very closed city. Aside from pride week and a small section of bank you do not see a lot of public pride.

Keith is an insensitive homophobe who should rot in hell.I have many amazing gay friends who deserve to be accepted in society as much as any other person.Because of people like Keith and Melisa gays don't come out and even commit suicide because they don't feel accepted and seen as "outcasts". People put them down so much for a decision they didn't even make. Just last year there were so many incidents of gay teens committing suicide all because of people like Keith.Hes a disgrace to society.

Wow, that guy was amazing. He obviously has had some issue with us gays in the past. Perhaps he's having a gay overload? A big gay nervous breakdown on the horizon? Maybe a little agorahomophobia (actually that one would be a good thing...)?
I think this contest is amazing. I've had two good friends lose their babies and I agree with the other comments. This contest will be completely life altering and it warms my heart thinking of the joy you're bringing to the winners.

It blows my mind how people still think this way. Times have changed, the societal values have changed. It sucks that some people just can't grasp that. I know its hard to change one's mind about something when its been ingrained in our minds for so long, but being open to new things is needed. I don't think Keith is open to new things lol.

(con't) I have a relative who has also had to bury a 10month old child and the couple has not been able to have another baby since. To that couple, being able to one day tell your child "technically, we won you from a contest" would not be something that would haunt them. To them, it would be a miracle. And that fact stands for ANY kind of couple.

Thanks for posting this. Thought I would share my thoughts too.
Although I did think the contest was a little strange when I first heard about it, I quickly changed my views once I learned MORE about it. You guys are doing a wonderful thing, & people who think otherwise are those who refuse to read beyond the lines of "Hey, sign up here! We're giving away a baby!" People need to learn to find more information about a topic and get their facts right BEFORE complaining on live radio.
