And I should add that with a low carb diet, a bit of exercise and lots of fruit and veg the guy in this video could look as good as the Williams sisters do. I love being a Jehovah's Witness !
This guy is just being a nuisance. I wouldn't expect the organisation to comment on individual members. That's those people's private business. I'm sure the Williams sisters have a press office. At any rate this just amounts to pestering people - the Witnesses and the Williams sisters- because of their religous beliefs.
You bring up a great point on these videos. Justice must prevail in YAHWEH's Kingdom.
There has been a slow degeneration in Jw's teachings and stance against the system since 1945 ..Light of the Kingdom is still shining.. The Israel of Promise still must be gathered...Shalom YAHPeople..more light to spread..
I think the watchtower is just infiltrated by Vatican Jesuits and imposters. They as a whole have a lot of good things and the ultimate message of the kingdom ,and the basic bible doctrines are right on. It is all this side bullcrap that they get snared up in .We should not focus too much on this when we are all in danger. I,m not against sports at all ,but balance is needed. The powers that be have used all this as a distraction from what their plans are!! Extermination of 95% Wake up people!!
If they were not winesaes they [the watchtower] would have told Mr. Faran a resounding "NO they are NOT!" but instead they answered him and said "we don't know" sure, they should know..... This and all the false doctrine they have, make them part of "Babylon the great"!
I like how the WTS deals with situations when something is not up to their standards. Deny, ingnore and hope it goes away. I dont believe anything was said about MJ and Prince (or whatever the hell his name is these days), publicly either, but I may be wrong and if I am please let me know.
went through Rick's stage 4 quite a few years after leaving. Apart from maybe Christadelphians and Adventists, they open up the scriptures: u r so astounded, so convinced they have THE truth that u fail 2 c the corruption unless u become educated (which they discourage) or u r brave enough 2 listen 2 evidence against them (also discouraged on threat of being branded 'apostate'). Rick, if truly believe, ur personal relationship with God, apart from religion is wat truly matters now; take care
this is not an organization where you can buy your way in or up this guy here obiously is just trying to make jws look bad but really has no interest in the bible or teaching it to people its funny how theirs many religions out their and churches that constantly make headlines because of their acts and crimes but the jws are ones to get talked about the most why because they are never proven facts about what ever lies people make up
bebuchina1 said: ....."We ALL make mistakes we are all humans including people at the WT... "
So, why would you be with an org that has a history of FATAL mistakes and isn't the bible absolute? Why do you need the WTS to understand the bible? If you ever read the Bible from beginning to end, you'll conclude DIFFERENTLY from the WTS, GUARANTEED!
We ALL have free will, something given to us by God our Creator. So why are you soooooo concerned about what other people do or choose. ..." I'm talking to the man in the mirror... I'm asking him to change his ways"... you should look at yourself before you critizice someone else!
I think you miss the entire point of the video. Rick isn't criticizing the Williams sisters. He's criticizing the cult handlers and their techniques for promoting cognitive dissonance in the minds of their neophyte members. Why is it these famous sisters can go on "in good standing" within their congregation while others are counseled to the point of exasperation for trying to excel at similar things? Are you blind?
That EVERYBODY will be judged... including the watchtower, so why is people worried. Everybody will be judged by Jehovafor the good things and bad things.. Remember Moses when they were in the dessert... he didn't saw the promised land! So do your part and forget about the rest! Trust the Bible because that should be our blueprint for salvation. We ALL make mistakes we are all humans including people at the WT...
Yes, I suppose you're right. I suppose I shouldn't bother warning others not to be initiated into this cult. I shouldn't warn them that this cult breaks up families and friendships. I'm sorry for trying to warn others not to confuse understanding cult knowledge with believing. I should be complacent like you and do nothing, sitting back and allowing them to destroy young ones' minds with guilt induction and other mind controlling criteria. How silly of me to not let God sort it out in the end.
I like the point you brought out about even the people in the WT making mistakes. Yes, you're right. I think last year they accidentally bilked 2.4 billion dollars out of unsuspecting people after all expenses for those timely journals were all paid for. Yes, I'll do my part and forget about the rest as you suggest. I'll forget the potential cult victims of the future. You're giving very sound advice. Thank you.
bebuchina1......exposing ANYTHING that's wrong, conspired, is a RIGHT that every single human has. What PT is doing is his human right to help people about the history of the WTS. It's like someone drowning. Would you just stand there and do NOTHING? At least call for help, no? Doing NOTHING is cowardly.
Hebrews 4:12,13 - "For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and their marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." And there is not a creation that is not manifest to his sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him whom we have an accounting.
Wow. What a convincing response. If you have or want to have kids and you suspect them taking drugs, do nothing, because "truth will prevail". Very humanly of you.
You are correct with everything you say, but the witnesses I know feel exactly the same as you that the Williams sisters can't be witnesses because of the way they dress, their participation in the tennis and the people they mix with. they also go to clubs and date men who are not witnesses, so normal witnesses agree with everything you have said, they don't understand it either.
If normal witnesses are questioning these things, then that is a good start.
Tell me this; do normal witnesses question the use of voluntary (slave) child labor in promoting a billion dollar a year corporation? Do they even think about that critically for one minute? You think they're promoting a "kingdom government".
Mt 24:5 "Many for shall come in the name of me, saying: I am the Anointed; and many they shall deceive. Not therefore go you after them." Lu 21:8 (Emphatic Diaglott)
I really liked your outlook on the Williams sisters videos.....you have nailed it right on the head when it comes to the double standards that the JW's also seem to do.
Also while watching them play tennis, I realized something else that would be extremly wrong according to the JW's, and that is signing Autograghs........wouldn't that be idolizing herself. I remembered that it was wrong to idolize anyone.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in the Trinity and here in Brazil has more evangelical and Catholic acreditan that the trinity of father, on behalf and on behalf of the Son and the Holy Spirit, saint
since 1977 the jw's have changed alot of stuff so i dont know whether or not they still have suc a strict standing considering most of my jw friends play foot ball and basket ball.
I do think the Watchtower Society is over the line on it's policy about sports, but is dedicating your entire life to a sport serving God? I mean if you believe the Bible, Jesus didn't say "go forth and collect trophies."
I want to add that I personally am not a Christian, but I used to be. So if you go by what Jesus said in the Bible, I get the impression that you're supposed to sacrifice the less important things in your life for the love of God.
LOL, this set up is so budget. Look at the background. Who gives a fuck if they're JW? And why would their Church know unless they have some kind of database which I doubt they'd have.
AHAHAHAHAHA shot down again huh Rick. You sly snake, trying to get the brother to reveal his name. It aint gonna work nor will it ever. Rick, here is some sound advice, move on. You dont want to accept the truth then move with your current pitiful life.
I sure wish the Williams Sisters would kick in a little more money and stay the Hell out of our family trusts here in Elk City, OK. The JW's are helping themselves (and don't ask me how) and taking advantage of my 78-year old bedridden father with Alzheimer's. We are currently in a lawsuit to have him removed as trustee of the trusts. Check it out on "ODCR" (on demand court records) in Beckham County, OK...Steve Powell and Melody Blankenship vs. Bobby Powell. We still love our dad, btw.
My former JW friend (I'm a former JW too) is currently fighting JWs in Tennessee over a will that was changed. Husband & wife willed everything to JWs, wife dies, husband disassociates himself & changes will to his sons as beneficiaries & now JWs are greedily trying to help themselves to the $, my friend may not have the resources to fight them in court & may lose because he can't afford to fight them.
Haggai 2:8- The silver is mine, and the gold is mine..... Says Jehovah. The organization won't get rich off a quarter. Whatever was left to His earthly organization, belongs to the Sovereign Lord Jehovah anyway. By the way, did you really get all the facts?
The William sisters can do it because they are giving their money to the WT. The regular person will get kicked out and disfellowshipped. Money talks to the WT. Keep rocking the boat Rick! You are reaching others for Christ by exposing the falsehoods of the Watchtower. Great job!
How do you know for sure that the Williams girls were not talked to by Elders about what they're doing?? Were you to know they wren't?? OF COURSE THEY WERE ADDRESSED. But it's their choice ultimately. Unless they do GROSS sins. And "Outlaw" is full of it for saying in high school "they would not let him". Elders give counsel, but no one forces anything. And Michael Jackson (you have amnesia it seems) WAS KICKED OUT A LONG TIME AGO. This is tired. And shows neurotic bias and silly prejudice.
biased bonehead. Who sees problems and issues with JWs under every couch. Cuz that's what you WANT to see. You forget that Michael Jackson DESPITE ALL THE MONEY THAT HE DONATED, WAS KICKED OUT REGARDLESS. A long time ago. Now tell me one thing that the Williams sisters did that was disfellowshipping offense??? Playing pro tennis & wearing that outfit don't even come CLOSE to DFing offenses. Did they do porn or something? Did they curse a mile a minute in some movie maybe? So lose the dumb biases
Just listen carefully @ 1:17 to what the WT says. The WT is the only religion in which the congregants have no clue what their religion asks of them. Maybe it's because so many Elders just make crap up or can't read?
I will say this, and note, I'm NOT a JW (though I agree with like 95% of what they say, do, and teach), that yes you have uptight farts and elders & imposing dogmatic stuff here and there. That's human nature. The first Christians in the Bible had crap too. To be blunt. A fact generally not really understood or appreciated by most people. (see 1,2 Cor, Galatians, James, Rev, etc) And divisions and junk. They were STILL the true Church though. But the WT point about PRO Sports is VALID, kiddoes.
PRO Sports is one thing, but intimidating children into not playing school sports? They are afraid, yes AFRAID that even young children will see behind the curtain and become aware of the hypocrisy.
This is insane. And shows bonehead bias and silly prejudice.
To those children who want to participate in school sports activities. As long as you provide the WTBTS with a cut of your $, influential maneuvers, and some booty and you can play all the sports you want while receiving Jehovah's blessing.
This is tired. And shows neurotic bias and silly prejudice.
MuscleSculptor, so you were there to witness the Williams sisters being addressed by the elders? How silly of anyone to think that the WTBTS would be influenced by someone's celebrity status and political connections. And I'm sure all JW children have understanding JW parents who ignore the counsel given by the WTBTS discouraging children to participate in sports. If JW children miss out on the opportunity to participate in sports, surely the WTBTS is never to blame.
were you there to see that they weren't?? duhh. That's what elders DOOO. But you unreaonably ASSume that they never were, cuz of your biased dumbbell agenda and prejudice and twisted hatred against JWs in general. You illogical fart. I see how you don't address (duh) how Michael Jackson was BOOTED OUT ages ago DESPITE (duh again) "celibrty status" or "money". That's why I said, what specific real dis-fellowshiping "gross sin" offense did the Williams sisters commit? Pro tennis and outfits??
MuscleSculptor, that's like asking why CT Russell was never labeled an apostate of the 7th day Adventist church or disfellowshipped for being a Freemason/Knight's Templar. Or why the Watchtower Society was never reprimanded for financing & providing a pagan pyramid memorializing CT Russell and secretly being a member of the United Nations. Duh!!! Never question authority.
The point is true though. BEING TOO INVOLVED IN THIS WORLD'S GLAMOUR, GLITZ, AND RUBBING SHOULDERS WITH NON-BELIEVERS, IS RISKY FOR THOSE WANTING TO STAY PURE, HOLY, AND BIBLICAL. The Watchtower is right. Worldly professional sports has pitfalls, greed, craziness, lewdness, and corrupting influences. And the Williams girls are whatever. You idiotically ASSumed that they were never spoken to by elders, about their stuff. THEY HAVE. Cuz that's what's done. But ultimately it's the person's choice.
Chet Lemon (you may remember him) was a pro baseball player for the Tigers, and he was a witness too. You had pro hocky players who were JWs (but left it cuz they finally took the counsel cuz they didn't like the sick influences in that pro sports life, etc). Mickey Spillane, the mystery novel writer and producer, also a JW. He did beer commercials. He said drinking is ok, but not getting drunk. NONE of those people were ever best examples in the congregation. BUT they DIDN'T do DFing sins. So?
Again, the bottom line is this: JW-haters, biased dopes, apostate whiners and cry-babies, sick twisted Bible-haters, bitter sour-grape no-life twerps, and people with axes to grind, will see things & jump on any stupid thing (real or imagined) and make big dumb stinks out of them. Like duhh "ahh Prine is a JW, and look what he does. Cuz of the money he gives, ahh uuhh". Blow it out your nose. You sick whiners. IF Prince or Williams did porn or smoked weed, and didn't stop, THEY'D BE KICKED OUT !
people who already believe a certain way, will tend to look at facts in an OBVIOUSLY & BLATANTLY biased demented unfair illogical unreasonable way, to fit their already-preconceived views of that matter. Like Sean Hannity will see ANYTHING that Barack Obama does as wrong or stupid, cuz that's his pre-bias of the guy (just as an example). Hannity bought the "Swift Boaters" line of crap in 2004 cuz Hannity ALREADY didn't like Kerry. Also, to Olberman, Obama could do no wrong. But Hillary was evil.
Those are just little examples in the secular world, of rotten sucky biased HUMAN NATURE tends to see things with colored glasses and dumbbell paradigms and "filters". Like ANY positives (real genuine things) about JWs will automatically knee-jerkly hastily get "filtered out" by deranged whining biased apostates and pagans, and any ANY supposed "negative" (real or imagined) with JWs gets zoomed in magnified, blown up, exaggerated, harped on, and neurotically crowed about. "Filtered IN".
So there's very very LOW CREDIBILITY with people like you. I know I'm not perfect. I'm not even a JW. Got relatives though. But look at the sum and substance of things honestly. The world's a MESS. And JWs are really the only true ones who look only to Messiah's Kingdom and Messiah's Blood as man's only hope. The stuff about "Armageddon" is BIBLICAL. Judgment or "terrible day of the Jehovah" and "Lord's vengeance". The WT didn't make those things up. It's all there in any Bible of any version.
Of course you are not a Jehovah's Witness. The typical line: "I'm not a JW, but I know the religion is the only true religion in the entire Universe." Then unleash your foul tongue of anti-apostate bitter rage. Of course you are not going to confess to being a JW while spewing & spamming HATE. That's what double lives are for.
well be that as it may, I'm NOT a JW. lol. believe that. if some JWs are lying about that, well that's wrong and on them. I see plenty though who claim to be JWs with no problem. So it depends. But nahh, I'm not anything right now. I got a couple of relatives who are though. It's all good. And it's nice how you think you know me, and can read minds. You got issues, kid. You're obssessed, and on a demented soap-box. You need to stop hating so much, and get some fresh air.
No, I don't think I know you. I said that is the typical line: "I'm not a JW, but... I don't want to know you. So far, all I know about you is that YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT.
it's like you see JW "control tactic" and "cultic" things under every couch, in every word and syllable. YOU'RE A PARANOID PSYCHOTIC. lol. Textbook example of a twisted creep. Your pictures, your videos, your words, your actions and reactions, your quotes, your weirdness.
and dumbo, if I was a JW, I would either most likely never even TALK to a hypocritical rude twisted creep like you. And if I did, I'd most likely be a LOT more toned down. Nah, chump. I'm not a JW. But I have friends and relatives who are. it's all good. stop assuming stupid crap all the time. And you talk about "atheist"? Many atheists have become JWs too. From the WT logical arguments for creation, etc. Well you're probably an agnostic or maybe some new-age screwball. It doesn't matter.
"and dumbo, if I was a JW..." You sound like a typical JW. The WTBTS has programmed you well, to hate & look down upon anyone who disagrees with it's twisted doctrines. And I never said I hate the bible. I just said it was unholy and full of plagiarism which is a proven FACT.
The WT logical arguments for creation??? I've been watching your comments & you spend more time saying that you're not a JW, but supporting everything they believe... seems to me that you're just afraid of saying you're a JW for fear of being spotted here looking at apostate stuff. Stop defending them or become one. I'm a former JW & have many friends that have left and know many that stayed (all of my dumbass family & many former friends). When did you leave the cong? or have you left yet?
You hate the Bible itself. YOU ADMITTED THAT. So you don't like any professed "Christian" group or religion. You admitted that too. But your venom & hate and obssessions are more against JWs. Despite the fact that you'll find wayyyyy more "abusers, criminals, murderers, drunks, defrauders," etc in the Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic churches, where there's NO DISCIPLINE, reproof or disfellowshipping at all. JWs keep the congregation clean. But you'll find fault with that too!!!!
@MuscleSculptor What are you talking about? What about Silent Lamb? What about all those people that have either been disfellowshipped or disassociated themselves from the JWs BECAUSE of sexual/physical/emotional abuse that they have received from the JWs themselves? That's not right. It is NOT the church's right to judge others and disfellowship AND shun others. It is the church's duty to continue to LOVE one another and to encourage one another to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
that's what I mean again by biased paradigms and dumbbell "filters". You basically see only what you want to see. Crowing about the U.N. thing? That same old gas bag? The WT is a registered corporation too, and has charters etc. Let's find fault with that too. It never ends with you sick losers. Whining all the time about TRIVIAL SILLY CRAP !!!!!! To try to supposedly bolster up your uptight apostate demonized agendas and craziness.
I don't really care much one way or the other. This is more an intellectual exercise for me. I do research on various theologies, histories, philosophies. etc. I agree with maybe 95% of what the WT teaches. It's whatever. If I was an actual baptized real JW (like my cousins and friends) believe me. I wouldn't waste 5 seconds with blockheads like you. Full of stubbornness and pride and neurosis. I was at the gym earlier, I come back, and see these cockeyed messages in my inbox. lol. So I respond.
JWs know and teach that the only hope out of death and the grave is Christ's Blood. Also Jehovah's Kingdom, under His Son. Etc. And they don't mix the true with the false, with pagan un-Biblical corrupt holidays and "way of the nations" (Jer 10) "Christ with idols." And "touch not the unclean thing, and be ye SEPARATE". Which is what Roman Catholics, Greek Orthodox, & Western Protestants generally violate, left and right. And mixing in corrupt politics too. JWs are NO PART of that worldly junk.
You idiotically ASSumed that they were never spoken to by elders, about their stuff. THEY HAVE. Cuz that's what's done. But ultimately it's the person's choice. Get over yourself, sonny. And lose the silly video productions on this irrelevant crap. I'm not a JW. But seeing your retarded bonehead babblings has me believing they probably have the Truth. And may be the True Church, being separated and sanctified, from this moronic world. I agree with a lot of what they do and say.
You KNOW that the Williams sisters are NOT best examples. If they're witnesses (which presumably they are), doesn't mean that they are in the BEST standing or best witnesses. It's whatever. They are taking a chance by being so close to worldly things like that. My point though is that JWs are NOT as "controlling" to actually kick people out (unless it's "gross sin" stuff outlined by Paul, John, and James, etc) for playing professional tennis. Get over your neurotic hang-ups and whinings.
The Watchtower can't WIN with biscuit heads like you. If the Watchtower is too "controlling" you are "oh they're mind control and cultic" but when there are those like Prince and Williams sisters "oh look at that, they're not following it" blah blah blah. AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED BY THE ELDERS FOR DRESSING LIKE THAT?? duhhh. NO DOUBT that they've been. But not EVERYHING is a "dis-fellowship" offence per se.
Rick, I must say that you are providing an excellant service to thousands here. As the case of many, I have to remain anonymous otherwise I woulld be making videos myself as I still have contact with close family members that are still in the CULT. The more that the WTBTS is exposed for the hypocrites that they are the more active jw's will be exiting. I don't understand how celebrity jw's get away with what they do, especially the Williams sisters. So wholesome,so invovled with the U.N.
Agreed I am the same have family members still within this cult and hope that they will be exiting soon. They have had their discussions about things changing too quickly and are stumped by it all things that I was taught years ago no longer exists. Things that were prohibited to myself now clearly as this video shows is prohibited where is the sense in it really. Hypocritical ? Definitely
But you silly gripers and complainers and hypocrites (the Watchtower can't win, with characters like you) get really old and tired and annoying after a while. People see what they WANT to see. Morons with PRE-BIASES will jump on any stupid minor thing (real or imagined) and get all deranged with their fault-finding, and use anything to as an excuse to hate, complain, and falsely accuse, go off, get hateful and venomous. It's TRANSPARENT after a while.
Good for them, let's hope that the Witnesses rescind the "no-sports" rule for the rest of them. I was hounded by the Elders on dozens of occasions to give up sports in HS as it would interfere with my spiritual growth. I was still an UP so they could not force me, but all of the baptized kids my age were coerced and whipped into line.
And where does the Bible mention sports in HS? Just as an example of the hypocrisy, I was at a JW picnic last weekend, and guess what the Elder sanctioned activity was? Football! I'm still scratching my head over why the kids who could not join a HS team are encouraged by the Elders to play the same sport. Any way, you are a typical undereducated Dub. I was writing about HS and you make a connection to professional sports. You do have the JW straw-man knee-jerk reflex down pat.
You see what I mean. That's a silly statement. NOT a question asked sincerely or reasonably "where does the Bible mention sports in HS"?? THE BIBLE'S OVERALL TENOR FOR THE TRUE SEPARATED CHRISTIAN IS TO "GUARD" HIMSELF, FROM CORRUPTING INFLUENCES AND ATTITUDES. Duhhh. And there are PRINCIPLES, involved. And we're talking about PROFESSIONAL IN THE MEDIA SPORTS TOO. And H.S. can be semi-professional. NOT duhhh, an occasional pic-nic thing. Playing most sports, per se, is not bad, though.
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Romans 2:1-3
Michael Jackson was once a JW and he gave money to the WTB&TS for years. It wasn't until after he made the Triller" music video that he got disfellowshipped for it. So for the William sister having "the gold" rule doesn't appy. If MJ can get DFed, the William Sisters still face the same risk as well. Guess all these scampy clothes wasn't enough reason for the WT to have a JC over it.
The Golden Rule:"He who has the Gold, makes the Rules" Williams are likely giving alot of money to the Watchtower in exchange for its silence. If the Watchtower admits the William sisters are Jehovah's Witnesses, then it will alienate the rank & file Jehovah's Witness who is not allowed to be part of the UN (even an aid-type branch), pose in scanty clothing, and participate in worldly sporting events.
Well I started off in a well to do KH, & have associated with several along the way & yes there is a difference. But the WTS is a pyramid, the lowest level is the largest and supports those at the top who benefit from the enlaved at the bottom.
Glad the girls got to play, wish many others had not been denied the opportunity.
The YPA V2 has 3 main points on sports pgs 265-266:
Not sure I understand this response. Aren't all JW's under pressure from the world/Satan? If their choice puts them under scrutiny, that was their choice - I hear a lot about that word - choice - from Truthbookblues. Unfortunately celebrity brings a magnifying glass on your life. I know that people I witness to raise questions about celebrity JW's. What do you tell them when you know they are doing against the direction from the WTS? Of course, in the public's mind, we appear dis-united.
Truthbookblues, you are self righteous. Rick Fearon is doing a good work and I agree 100% with his tone, intent and message. As someone who has made videos himself on you tube I would think you would be on his side, our side. Calling the WT is a stunt? I call the WT all the time. Am I doing a stunt? Why don't you take that collossal stick out of your ass and lighten up on the guy. He is trying to protect cult members from further abuse and warn others of the dangers of the WT. Thank you Rick!
It is this sort of nitpicking that has me concerned about contributing in any way to anything that would cause a witness to become associated with such a self elevating attitude. This guy wants to stand out and it grates on me. More power to those who fall under the new Russell. That's just the way he comes across. I doubt any man who has ALL the answers. I offer no substitute organization or dogma.
Rick, this is so trivial. Why do you focus on high profile individuals? Nothing in the literature says a person can be disfellowshipped for choosing to be involved in sports. I'm not hear to defend JW's, but get a life. Your efforts are better spent on subjects more relevent to real Watchtower duplicity. This is trivial at best.
He who is faithful in the little things is faithful in the bigger things... this is not a trivial matter as anyone who has ever tried to play school sports (as a baptised Witness) will tell you.
I played football as a freshman in H.S. and was an all-league defensive lineman. I was baptized the following winter and refused to play football as a sophomore. The Coaches gave me "F"s in retribution. I didn't play that year but played as a junior and senior. No one gave a shit. Don't feed me this crap about not knowing about the borg. My point is this, I could easily pick a famous Catholic who has disregarded their dogma, so what? It is the core of the organization that is wrong not jack JW's
One expects a Catholic to disregard dogma. However, when you convert to JW's, you DON'T "expect" a JW to ignore advice from the GB. Your congregation (especially its elders) must not have been a spritually strong congregation to have turned an eye on your extracurricular activity. You know you were suppose to be studying/preaching as opposed to playing worldly organized sports. So although you say "don't feed me this crap about not knowing about the borg", apparently you weren't aware of this?
If you had read my previous comment closely you would see I DID NOT play as a newly baptized person. It didn't take long for me to recognize that it was up to ME what I did about this. Regardless of how spiritually "Strong" they were, it was my choice. There was NO SANCTION for playing sports. This is true everywhere. Read the literature. Though some may look down their nose at you the Society has no authority to DF or otherwise punish you. It is your choice. Prove that wrong. My point is this..
Don't fall into the trap of pointing at these women and say, "there they go again". That is just bull. Show that Russell was demonic, or Rutherford a liar, drunk, weasel, but don't nip at the heals of celebrities when everyone knows that is pathetic. No one cares if they are uber witnesses because their status is so unimportant. It is the Society that is the problem, not celebrities. If you don't like that they are held to the same standard as you held yourself, get over it. No one else cares.
Truthbookbluses: "If you don't like that they are held to the same standard as you held yourself, get over it. No one else cares." Okay, I see the problem. You were one of those JW's who didn't listen to the recommendations of the GB - you know, the ones hand-picked by Jehovah God himself. Apparently anyone listening to the GB all of a sudden is viewed as making this standard up themselves. Yikes. I asked, were you encouraged by JW's to play worldly school sports? Do you have a name?
Please view this video again... I don't think Rick is pointing at the Williams sisters as much as he's pointing to the inconsistencies in the JW's organization. I believe he mentions that he personally has nothing against them, believing them to be very good at their sport - just as I agree with that observation (who wouldn't?). You don't like the fact that he using their celebrity status - but, that's the cost of celebrity... so in your own words - "get over it".
Where you encouraged to play worldly sports? Of course, not. On the contrary, the literature that Rick reads from strongly discourages it. At our recent DC, it was strongly discouraged - a point repeated to no end. While it's true you can't be DF'd, elders are suppose to remind you of the dangers of this - that's their duty. btw: The literature (and my servant body meeting with the CO) state that anyone not following the guidelines for Christians, cannot be recommended for M.S/Elders.
I watched it. Calling the WT is a stunt plain and simple. If they were counseled against such actions it wouldn't be announced. As you know, people are counseled against getting an unscriptural divorce but CANNOT be reproved or disfellowshiped for it. No, they cannot be used on the platform etc, but it is their choice whether or not to follow this direction. No record is made at Bethel of this sort of thing. Brooklyn doesn't have to answer for the actions of the Williams sisters, they do.
I doubt that Serena and her sister give a flip about advancing in the organization. It seems important to you apparently.
Judicial decisions are made on a local level. Rick knows that having been an elder. It is not up to Brooklyn to act on this. Attack doctrine, attack dangerous teachings that end in death, but don't become JW paparazzi hawkers. It's unbecoming. I guess using their names and pictures guarantees Rick the attention he seeks. He still thinks he's anointed. For what? Sad really.
Just to change the subject a little because this response triggered what has upset me the most. The GB/WTS/Brooklyn did keep a record of the pedophilia problem! And, in my opinion, it was their duty to advise the congregations of this problem so that the members could be put on guard. They choose to be silent. And, by now, everyone knows their so-called 'best-in-practice' sexual abuse policies failed innocent children miserably.
Now you have touched on something pertinent, sustainable and not simply sensational. Call Bethel about that again. That made points. That is worth a call. That is viable and a subject that can have force in exposing the duplicity. The average witness could care less if two girls disregard the direction of "God's spokesman". Witnesses today ARE NOT like we were in the 60's,- early 90's. It is evolving. This is why they are checking out the videos we post and are at risk according to the FDS
I wonder (as a result of this video) whether the Williams sisters will be placed on the radar screen for the local elders of congregation they most frequent. If it's true that Michael Jackson left (on his own), will the Williams sisters follow? With that in mind, perhaps the WT organization fears alienating them (which of course forfeit their future donations to the WT)?
I admire how you are exposing the destructive cult known as The Jehovah's Witnesses, but you are wrong about Michael Jackson. Michael quit the Jehovah's Witnesses in the late eighties because of their abusive policies that you have described.
twarren20, and you need to shut the fuck up because you have no clue what the issue is. Is your comment a demo of 'loving kindness'? Rick makes a valid point and you call him all those words? : )
You need to get Jenny Craig as your personal savior. You are sad and nasty. You have nothing to do in life. Why do you care about their religious beliefs...you are not concerned...you are lonely, hateful, bitter, and a fat HOG.
has it been determined if these are baptised jehovah's witnesses because this wouldmake a big diference to how they would be delt with. if they are not baptised then the cult cannot do anything to them.
I couldn't participate in extra curricular sports, dances, clubs, or anything a normal teenager was allowed to do. Why the double standard with the Williams sisters? They dress provocatively (we were always counseled to dress modestly), we couldn't vote and certainly couldn't voice an opinion because we were supposed to be "NO PART OF THIS WORLD". Being worldly is the ultimate sin of a Jehovah's Witness. Seems to me the Williams sisters are very wordly. Will they be disfellowshipped?

This guy is just being a nuisance. I wouldn't expect the organisation to comment on individual members. That's those people's private business. I'm sure the Williams sisters have a press office. At any rate this just amounts to pestering people - the Witnesses and the Williams sisters- because of their religous beliefs.

Apart from maybe Christadelphians and Adventists, they open up the scriptures: u r so astounded, so convinced they have THE truth that u fail 2 c the corruption unless u become educated (which they discourage) or u r brave enough 2 listen 2 evidence against them (also discouraged on threat of being branded 'apostate'). bebuchina1 said: ....."We ALL make mistakes we are all humans including people at the WT... "
So, why would you be with an org that has a history of FATAL mistakes and isn't the bible absolute? Why do you need the WTS to understand the bible? If you ever read the Bible from beginning to end, you'll conclude DIFFERENTLY from the WTS, GUARANTEED!
poconoporker 2 years ago
We ALL have free will, something given to us by God our Creator. So why are you soooooo concerned about what other people do or choose. ..." I'm talking to the man in the mirror... I'm asking him to change his ways"... you should look at yourself before you critizice someone else!
bebuchina1 2 years ago
I think you miss the entire point of the video. Rick isn't criticizing the Williams sisters. He's criticizing the cult handlers and their techniques for promoting cognitive dissonance in the minds of their neophyte members. Why is it these famous sisters can go on "in good standing" within their congregation while others are counseled to the point of exasperation for trying to excel at similar things? Are you blind?
propagandatechniques 2 years ago
Again, salvation is individual... it does not depend on what someone else do. And I am not missing the point.. I'm very clear!
bebuchina1 2 years ago
Well, I'd say I agree with you about salvation being individual. But, what does that have to do with the hypocrisy of the Watchtower Society?
propagandatechniques 2 years ago
That EVERYBODY will be judged... including the watchtower, so why is people worried. Everybody will be judged by Jehovafor the good things and bad things.. Remember Moses when they were in the dessert... he didn't saw the promised land! So do your part and forget about the rest! Trust the Bible because that should be our blueprint for salvation. We ALL make mistakes we are all humans including people at the WT...
bebuchina1 2 years ago
Yes, I suppose you're right. I suppose I shouldn't bother warning others not to be initiated into this cult. I shouldn't warn them that this cult breaks up families and friendships. I'm sorry for trying to warn others not to confuse understanding cult knowledge with believing. I should be complacent like you and do nothing, sitting back and allowing them to destroy young ones' minds with guilt induction and other mind controlling criteria. How silly of me to not let God sort it out in the end.
propagandatechniques 2 years ago
I like the point you brought out about even the people in the WT making mistakes. Yes, you're right. I think last year they accidentally bilked 2.4 billion dollars out of unsuspecting people after all expenses for those timely journals were all paid for. Yes, I'll do my part and forget about the rest as you suggest. I'll forget the potential cult victims of the future. You're giving very sound advice. Thank you.

You are correct with everything you say, but the witnesses I know feel exactly the same as you that the Williams sisters can't be witnesses because of the way they dress, their participation in the tennis and the people they mix with. they also go to clubs and date men who are not witnesses, so normal witnesses agree with everything you have said, they don't understand it either.
goku6330 2 years ago
If normal witnesses are questioning these things, then that is a good start.
Tell me this; do normal witnesses question the use of voluntary (slave) child labor in promoting a billion dollar a year corporation? Do they even think about that critically for one minute? You think they're promoting a "kingdom government".

Also while watching them play tennis, I realized something else that would be extremly wrong according to the JW's, and that is signing Autograghs........wouldn't that be idolizing herself. I remembered that it was wrong to idolize anyone.
Keep it real!

I sure wish the Williams Sisters would kick in a little more money and stay the Hell out of our family trusts here in Elk City, OK. We are currently in a lawsuit to have him removed as trustee of the trusts.

MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
Just listen carefully @ 1:17 to what the WT says. The WT is the only religion in which the congregants have no clue what their religion asks of them. Maybe it's because so many Elders just make crap up or can't read?
dkurau 3 years ago

MuscleSculptor, so you were there to witness the Williams sisters being addressed by the elders? How silly of anyone to think that the WTBTS would be influenced by someone's celebrity status and political connections. If JW children miss out on the opportunity to participate in sports, surely the WTBTS is never to blame.

Duh!!! Never question authority.
briana62 3 years ago

So?

MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
So there's very very LOW CREDIBILITY with people like you. I know I'm not perfect. I'm not even a JW. Got relatives though. But look at the sum and substance of things honestly. The world's a MESS. And JWs are really the only true ones who look only to Messiah's Kingdom and Messiah's Blood as man's only hope. The stuff about "Armageddon" is BIBLICAL. Judgment or "terrible day of the Jehovah" and "Lord's vengeance". The WT didn't make those things up. It's all there in any Bible of any version.
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
Of course you are not a Jehovah's Witness. The typical line: "I'm not a JW, but I know the religion is the only true religion in the entire Universe." Then unleash your foul tongue of anti-apostate bitter rage. Of course you are not going to confess to being a JW while spewing & spamming HATE. That's what double lives are for.
briana62 3 years ago 2
well be that as it may, I'm NOT a JW. lol. believe that. if some JWs are lying about that, well that's wrong and on them.

MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
"and dumbo, if I was a JW..." You sound like a typical JW. The WTBTS has programmed you well, to hate & look down upon anyone who disagrees with it's twisted doctrines. And I never said I hate the bible. I just said it was unholy and full of plagiarism which is a proven FACT.
briana62 3 years ago

I don't really care much one way or the other. This is more an intellectual exercise for me. I do research on various theologies, histories, philosophies. etc. I agree with maybe 95% of what the WT teaches. It's whatever. If I was an actual baptized real JW (like my cousins and friends) believe me. I wouldn't waste 5 seconds with blockheads like you. Full of stubbornness and pride and neurosis. I was at the gym earlier, I come back, and see these cockeyed messages in my inbox. lol. So I respond.

@briana62 are you a whitness?

MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
You idiotically ASSumed that they were never spoken to by elders, about their stuff. THEY HAVE. Cuz that's what's done. But ultimately it's the person's choice. Get over yourself, sonny. And lose the silly video productions on this irrelevant crap. I'm not a JW. But seeing your retarded bonehead babblings has me believing they probably have the Truth. And may be the True Church, being separated and sanctified, from this moronic world. I agree with a lot of what they do and say.
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
You KNOW that the Williams sisters are NOT best examples. If they're witnesses (which presumably they are), doesn't mean that they are in the BEST standing or best witnesses. It's whatever. They are taking a chance by being so close to worldly things like that. My point though is that JWs are NOT as "controlling" to actually kick people out (unless it's "gross sin" stuff outlined by Paul, John, and James, etc) for playing professional tennis. Get over your neurotic hang-ups and whinings.
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
The Watchtower can't WIN with biscuit heads like you. If the Watchtower is too "controlling" you are "oh they're mind control and cultic" but when there are those like Prince and Williams sisters "oh look at that, they're not following it" blah blah blah. AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED BY THE ELDERS FOR DRESSING LIKE THAT?? duhhh. NO DOUBT that they've been. But not EVERYHING is a "dis-fellowship" offence per se.
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
Rick, your message should have read "Tennis Is a Snare and a Racket".
jerg1972 3 years ago
Rick, I must say that you are providing an excellant service to thousands here. As the case of many, I have to remain anonymous otherwise I woulld be making videos myself as I still have contact with close family members that are still in the CULT. The more that the WTBTS is exposed for the hypocrites that they are the more active jw's will be exiting. I don't understand how celebrity jw's get away with what they do, especially the Williams sisters. So wholesome,so invovled with the U.N.
nomoreguilt 3 years ago
Agreed I am the same have family members still within this cult and hope that they will be exiting soon. They have had their discussions about things changing too quickly and are stumped by it all things that I was taught years ago no longer exists. Things that were prohibited to myself now clearly as this video shows is prohibited where is the sense in it really. Hypocritical ? Definitely
angiec0307 3 years ago
But you silly gripers and complainers and hypocrites (the Watchtower can't win, with characters like you) get really old and tired and annoying after a while. People see what they WANT to see. Morons with PRE-BIASES will jump on any stupid minor thing (real or imagined) and get all deranged with their fault-finding, and use anything to as an excuse to hate, complain, and falsely accuse, go off, get hateful and venomous. It's TRANSPARENT after a while.
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
Good for them, let's hope that the Witnesses rescind the "no-sports" rule for the rest of them. I was hounded by the Elders on dozens of occasions to give up sports in HS as it would interfere with my spiritual growth. I was still an UP so they could not force me, but all of the baptized kids my age were coerced and whipped into line.
dkurau 3 years ago
MuscleSculptor 3 years ago
And where does the Bible mention sports in HS? Just as an example of the hypocrisy, I was at a JW picnic last weekend, and guess what the Elder sanctioned activity was? Football! I'm still scratching my head over why the kids who could not join a HS team are encouraged by the Elders to play the same sport. Any way, you are a typical undereducated Dub. I was writing about HS and you make a connection to professional sports. You do have the JW straw-man knee-jerk reflex down pat.
dkurau 3 years ago

Guess all these scampy clothes wasn't enough reason for the WT to have a JC over it.
yizuman 3 years ago
The Golden Rule:"He who has the Gold, makes the Rules" Williams are likely giving alot of money to the Watchtower in exchange for its silence. If the Watchtower admits the William sisters are Jehovah's Witnesses, then it will alienate the rank & file Jehovah's Witness who is not allowed to be part of the UN (even an aid-type branch), pose in scanty clothing, and participate in worldly sporting events.
DancesInSnow 3 years ago
Well I started off in a well to do KH, & have associated with several along the way & yes there is a difference. But the WTS is a pyramid, the lowest level is the largest and supports those at the top who benefit from the enlaved at the bottom.
Glad the girls got to play, wish many others had not been denied the opportunity.
The YPA V2 has 3 main points on sports pgs 265-266:
1. Degree of risk?
2. Good Association?
3. How much time & money?
FS is the only truly acceptable activity.
notboii 3 years ago
BTW: Not really fair to put such pressure on a couple of girls who were raised as JWs and still hold some of the beliefs.
5thGeneratn 3 years ago
Not sure I understand this response. Aren't all JW's under pressure from the world/Satan? If their choice puts them under scrutiny, that was their choice - I hear a lot about that word - choice - from Truthbookblues. Unfortunately celebrity brings a magnifying glass on your life. I know that people I witness to raise questions about celebrity JW's. What do you tell them when you know they are doing against the direction from the WTS? Of course, in the public's mind, we appear dis-united.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
Truthbookblues, you are self righteous. Rick Fearon is doing a good work and I agree 100% with his tone, intent and message. As someone who has made videos himself on you tube I would think you would be on his side, our side. Calling the WT is a stunt? I call the WT all the time. Am I doing a stunt? Why don't you take that collossal stick out of your ass and lighten up on the guy. He is trying to protect cult members from further abuse and warn others of the dangers of the WT. Thank you Rick!
soundtoolspro 3 years ago 2
Attack the WT all you want but why attack the people. It's just hurtful and Jesus wouldn't do it.
They have every right to believe what they want.
5thGeneratn 3 years ago
It is this sort of nitpicking that has me concerned about contributing in any way to anything that would cause a witness to become associated with such a self elevating attitude. This guy wants to stand out and it grates on me. More power to those who fall under the new Russell. That's just the way he comes across. I doubt any man who has ALL the answers. I offer no substitute organization or dogma.

Ah!... the truth comes out.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
Rick, this is so trivial. Why do you focus on high profile individuals? Nothing in the literature says a person can be disfellowshipped for choosing to be involved in sports. I'm not hear to defend JW's, but get a life. Your efforts are better spent on subjects more relevent to real Watchtower duplicity. This is trivial at best.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
He who is faithful in the little things is faithful in the bigger things... this is not a trivial matter as anyone who has ever tried to play school sports (as a baptised Witness) will tell you.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
I played football as a freshman in H.S. and was an all-league defensive lineman. I was baptized the following winter and refused to play football as a sophomore. The Coaches gave me "F"s in retribution. I didn't play that year but played as a junior and senior. No one gave a shit. Don't feed me this crap about not knowing about the borg. My point is this, I could easily pick a famous Catholic who has disregarded their dogma, so what? It is the core of the organization that is wrong not jack JW's
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
One expects a Catholic to disregard dogma. However, when you convert to JW's, you DON'T "expect" a JW to ignore advice from the GB. Your congregation (especially its elders) must not have been a spritually strong congregation to have turned an eye on your extracurricular activity. You know you were suppose to be studying/preaching as opposed to playing worldly organized sports. So although you say "don't feed me this crap about not knowing about the borg", apparently you weren't aware of this?
joepublisher1 3 years ago
If you had read my previous comment closely you would see I DID NOT play as a newly baptized person. It didn't take long for me to recognize that it was up to ME what I did about this. Regardless of how spiritually "Strong" they were, it was my choice. There was NO SANCTION for playing sports. This is true everywhere. Read the literature. Though some may look down their nose at you the Society has no authority to DF or otherwise punish you. It is your choice. Prove that wrong. My point is this..
Truthbookblues 3 years ago 3
Don't fall into the trap of pointing at these women and say, "there they go again". That is just bull. Show that Russell was demonic, or Rutherford a liar, drunk, weasel, but don't nip at the heals of celebrities when everyone knows that is pathetic. No one cares if they are uber witnesses because their status is so unimportant. It is the Society that is the problem, not celebrities. If you don't like that they are held to the same standard as you held yourself, get over it. No one else cares.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
Truthbookbluses: "If you don't like that they are held to the same standard as you held yourself, get over it. No one else cares." Okay, I see the problem. You were one of those JW's who didn't listen to the recommendations of the GB - you know, the ones hand-picked by Jehovah God himself. Apparently anyone listening to the GB all of a sudden is viewed as making this standard up themselves. Yikes. I asked, were you encouraged by JW's to play worldly school sports? Do you have a name?
joepublisher1 3 years ago
Please view this video again... I don't think Rick is pointing at the Williams sisters as much as he's pointing to the inconsistencies in the JW's organization. I believe he mentions that he personally has nothing against them, believing them to be very good at their sport - just as I agree with that observation (who wouldn't?). You don't like the fact that he using their celebrity status - but, that's the cost of celebrity... so in your own words - "get over it".
joepublisher1 3 years ago 2
Where you encouraged to play worldly sports? Of course, not. On the contrary, the literature that Rick reads from strongly discourages it. At our recent DC, it was strongly discouraged - a point repeated to no end. While it's true you can't be DF'd, elders are suppose to remind you of the dangers of this - that's their duty. btw: The literature (and my servant body meeting with the CO) state that anyone not following the guidelines for Christians, cannot be recommended for M.S/Elders.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
I watched it. Calling the WT is a stunt plain and simple. If they were counseled against such actions it wouldn't be announced. As you know, people are counseled against getting an unscriptural divorce but CANNOT be reproved or disfellowshiped for it. No, they cannot be used on the platform etc, but it is their choice whether or not to follow this direction. No record is made at Bethel of this sort of thing. Brooklyn doesn't have to answer for the actions of the Williams sisters, they do.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
I doubt that Serena and her sister give a flip about advancing in the organization. It seems important to you apparently.
Judicial decisions are made on a local level. Rick knows that having been an elder. It is not up to Brooklyn to act on this. Attack doctrine, attack dangerous teachings that end in death, but don't become JW paparazzi hawkers. It's unbecoming. I guess using their names and pictures guarantees Rick the attention he seeks. He still thinks he's anointed. For what? Sad really.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
Just to change the subject a little because this response triggered what has upset me the most. The GB/WTS/Brooklyn did keep a record of the pedophilia problem! And, in my opinion, it was their duty to advise the congregations of this problem so that the members could be put on guard. They choose to be silent. And, by now, everyone knows their so-called 'best-in-practice' sexual abuse policies failed innocent children miserably.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
Now you have touched on something pertinent, sustainable and not simply sensational. Call Bethel about that again. That made points. That is worth a call. That is viable and a subject that can have force in exposing the duplicity. The average witness could care less if two girls disregard the direction of "God's spokesman". Witnesses today ARE NOT like we were in the 60's,- early 90's. It is evolving. This is why they are checking out the videos we post and are at risk according to the FDS
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
I wonder (as a result of this video) whether the Williams sisters will be placed on the radar screen for the local elders of congregation they most frequent. If it's true that Michael Jackson left (on his own), will the Williams sisters follow? With that in mind, perhaps the WT organization fears alienating them (which of course forfeit their future donations to the WT)?
joepublisher1 3 years ago
I admire how you are exposing the destructive cult known as The Jehovah's Witnesses, but you are wrong about Michael Jackson. Michael quit the Jehovah's Witnesses in the late eighties because of their abusive policies that you have described.

This response is another example of double-standards. How is this response "Christian", yet that is what JW's "claim" to be.
joepublisher1 3 years ago
has it been determined if these are baptised jehovah's witnesses because this wouldmake a big diference to how they would be delt with. if they are not baptised then the cult cannot do anything to them.
DreamPharaoh 3 years ago
I couldn't participate in extra curricular sports, dances, clubs, or anything a normal teenager was allowed to do. Why the double standard with the Williams sisters? They dress provocatively (we were always counseled to dress modestly), we couldn't vote and certainly couldn't voice an opinion because we were supposed to be "NO PART OF THIS WORLD". Being worldly is the ultimate sin of a Jehovah's Witness. Seems to me the Williams sisters are very wordly. Will they be disfellowshipped?
Maltishi 3 years ago
completely irrelevant. Many people identify themselves as witness who are not really.
