It's agreat song to hear. It's sad though that a few people connected to 'Best Of The Best' have passed away. Jim Capaldi in 2005, then Chris Penn practically a year later, and just two months ago John Dye, who played Virgil Keller. RIP guys.

I used to love this when I was six years old, by then it was 1998. I still love this movie to this day and I always look forward to hearing this song, this song plus the bar fight and the awesomeness that is James Earl Jones is something I will never forget, or any part of the movie for that matter.

I agree with skishred12. He was underrated. The contributions he made to Traffic were great. I never heard this song before. On a whim, I typed in his name on you tube and so saddened to hear of his passing on to the other side. I've got to get this song and others on my ipod. Now, I feel compelled to see the movie.

I remember this song from 20 yrs ago. It was all over AOR radio back in the day. Ironically its original album peaked at #183 on the BB Top 200 Albums chart. Although the album sold somewhat poorly this song was still a Top 5 AOR hit. I had to look up that info. I think this song was also featured during a "Baywatch" epi (pre-Pam Anderson yrs) when NBC had the show. Great to hear it again.
