I concur with your remarks. I was fortunate enough to be at the game and the official left a lot to be desired. The second half was very entertaining and it was good to see Canada pushing forward and taking the game to Jamaica. If Canada can beat Honduras in Montreal and pull off a tie with Mexico in Edmonton then one win on the road should be enough to get through.
