  • Dallas Fire Department are a bunch of slow fucking stoopid looser cowards.

  • @HelloHansSolo

Somebody didn't make it past the Civil Service Exam

  • @ArmyMP1001 usually for extra man power, or to block traffic, sometimes the only extrication equipment is one the ladder truck, all depends on your area

  • whats the electronic siren called thats on the squad?

  • i love the fire-rescue of armerica...

    greez from germany

  • God, it's nice to know there are idiots commenting here that do not know what they are talking about!

  • Beautiful rigs !!! But I don't understand why the firefighters have to be called out with the ambulance.Let's look at this from a few angles first you are tying up a rig, what happens if there is a fire while truck is responding to First aid call. Then you call another rig to the fire losing valuable seconds or even minutes.Second, firefighters being called to a first aid call causes fire fighters fatigue and stress.Third, the rigs wear and tear as well as gas use.More money on repair and gas.

  • What kinda siren on Truck 57.

  • What siren was on the Ambulance and then the Ladder?

  • DALLAS HAS TILLERS?!!!

  • @jacobstern14048 Alot of FD have tillers just rarely seen.

  • @DanielsSFD They are becoming sort of a lost art though

  • @jacobstern14048 All fire departments in the US have tiller companies.. its rarely seen because most ladders are either tower ladders or rearmount aerials...

  • @usmcwarrior94 im not sure what you mean by this. Not all departments have tiller companies, and if you meant ladder companies thats still not true because more fire dept's dont have ladder co's opposed to the amount of fd's that do.

  • no q on the truck i consider it neutered

  • nice video the DFD should use Q for two trucks but great vid get more

  • Holy Goddamn that would be an asshole to backup!

  • Is there anywhere to go online to hear a live broadcast of dispatch calls for DFD?

  • those big ladder trucks are so old

  • @ Jackus - The ladder truck probably has the Jaws of Life on it, that's why it's responding.

  • get a q siren on that tiller truck

  • Gay Siren

  • wow we dont use tractor drawn units here in the midwest...... they are considered a sort of novelty. haha

  • at 0:48-0:51 is the back tires turning with the front tires? if it is why?

  • @hut98 there is a firefighter in the rear of the truck steering the rear wheels, it helps the truck get around corners easily

  • @Trainman11185 oh i thought that guy was only for the ladder. Cuz in all the other ones ive seen they dont do that

  • Awe no q

  • Whelen!!

  • why would a truck go on an MVA? Im gonna be a firefighter and im trying to get as much info as possible.

  • Dallas FD will use the tiller truck as a lane blocker on the major highways. They will set it up to block 3 sometimes 4 lanes.

  • I really hate tillers lol and btw eww on your first out engine

  • dang that tiller is low

  • Needs a Q or at least dual Unitrols

  • I'm missing the Q's on these !!!

  • The Dallas fire department are typical Texas assholes! Rude motherfuckers..i hate em!

  • i don't get how they are rude

  • @ServeTruth2u man your worng dallas fd have good fire fighters and i think the only person that is a typical rude asshole mother fucker is you man

  • @ServeTruth2u I can see why they Hate you!!!!

  • Are those ambulances or fire trucks? I can't tell, they all sound the same hahahaha

  • Sweet tiller dumb ass sirens though

  • how do mva's work out in dallas???? engine medic ? code and tillar none siren??? unless its highway?

  • No Q's?

  • that tiller is S | I | C | K !!!

  • WOW you guys have some badass fire apparstus!!!!!

  • Beautiful Apparatus!! A shame they are not running electro-mechanical sirens!

  • nice PA300's on the ambulance and engine

  • I've seen Truck 57 in person before! CHICAGO AND DALLAS!

  • In Dallas, the truck company responds to accidents as a traffic control unit, unless someone is pinned. Then, they pull the Jaws of Life from the truck company.

  • If someone is pinned they also send a 2nd truck.

  • Why would they run a tower to a MVA and why don't the rigs have Q's I would really like to know? N.Y.C doesn't have Q's either, could it be because they are too loud?

  • You know what, maybe that is what gets people's to notice fretrucks and ambo's, is the "dim hi lo" siren. It could be that the Q is just to high pitched and it is hard to believe but people may not hear the siren.

  • You may be right, and I've compared several kinds of sirens. The loudest is the Q and the German "Martinshorn" which is a pneumatic hi-lo consists of two horns with air compressor. Even a 200 Watt electric siren is still dimmer than the Q. But also I've heard a fireman said he prefers to use the hi-lo because it's easier for human ear to pick up. In another word, easier for people to realize that's a siren.

  • Some departments throw their extrication equipment on their ladder trucks so that's one possibility why it rolled. Another possibility is they just needed man power at the scene so they rolled that truck.

  • One reason is because the Tower can block a lot of lanes and in Dallas there is no shortage of 8 and 12 lane roads. Plus if its like my department Ladders carry more equipment and its nice to have enough man power on a bad wreck.

  • Very common sight in Dallas to have a ladder at pretty much all MVAs on the major interstates.

  • Ladder Wagons carry extrication tools, IE your jaws of life.

  • my home town

  • Despite what you may think, some people are as interested in the actual equipment on the rig, be it the engine or the specific brand of siren and warning equipment.

  • She is an idiot and actually got in trouble by her chief for talking shit on here. She is a firefighter that works for LAcoFD. She did not represent them well i guess.

  • What's the name of the first 2 sirens?

  • I think they still use the Federal PA 300

  • Oh, thanks I love them and have 1 in my house to play with. :-)

  • these are medic van and bc sirens.. on a truck and engine? im puzzled.. ha

  • Why are you puzzled, you yanks send an ambulance and a whole sation to someone who has the runs, dont worry about the sirens mate!

  • Yanks? Im from orange county. we send one ALS engine or medic van to an ems. One engine to a fire alarm...

  • i like the siren anyways i just am used to seeing q's. thier still cool.

  • love the sirens

  • Great video, but what use would the 3rd truck be at a car accident?

  • To help block traffic since its on the highway.

  • I see. Thanks!

  • @GTss2010 thats what cops are for

  • @GTss2010 and it carries fire fighters and rescue equipment too

  • Alot of ladder trucks these days have extrication equipment ont them.

  • These days many articulated aerials are being used as combo ladder/rescue trucks due to the large amount of space inside the articulated trailer.

  • Hi my name is Ralph and I am a fireman out of house 252 Squad in Brooklyn on Central Ave. I recivied a very disturbing e mail from a chap named scconservative, he makes videos of Charleston S.C. Please give him a shout and let him know what the FDNY means to you. This is what he wrote to me

    scconservative wrote:

The only good thing about 9/11 was the fact that your fag buddies died in those towers screaming like the bitches that they are. Fuck New York, and Fuck YOu

  • @RalphFDNY4life ilove FDNY no matter were you are from brother we are a big brother hood my brother

  • @Jackus2008 Dallas sends a truck company to ALL MVAs on the highways to block traffic. In fact they have tillered aerials like the one in this video at stations that run a lot of highway calls just for the purpose of closing down the highway. That's the only reason Dallas went with tillered aerials at some of their stations.

  • Comment removed

  • @DeltaFoxtrotWhiskey3 Not completely true, a Chief that was from Jacksonville Fl used tillers in that Dept, Dallas didn't just buy them for the highways but alot of streets, Apartments and other reasons make them useful. Dallas has 6 Tillers but they are not all by Freeways. 3's 4's downtown. 23s south downtown, 20s 39s 57s stretch across north south 635. but they are good for blocking freeways

  • @resxcueme 3's has a tillered aerial? Thought theirs was a midmount platform.

  • @DeltaFoxtrotWhiskey3 yeah they where one of the first stations that got a tiller in 03 but got a new one in 06. Stations 19 and 36 has a Mid mount tower ladder.

  • @resxcueme does fort worth or arlington use tractor drawn units too?

  • @gunnlover

Fort Worth, Arlington doesn't have none yet anyway, they run quints. platforms.

  • @Jackus2008 Most extrication tools are kept on the Aerials and Quints. Traffic blocking probably was part of it but if they needed to extrication someone then they would have the tools there and wouldnt have to call in a 2nd alarm for the Tiller to bring them :)

  • @Jackus2008 The Tiller Truck is where all the extrication tools are kept. If a department runs a truck company, it almost always does extrication. It is also standard practice on wreck scenes (mainly entrapments) to have a charged hose line at the ready which is where the engine comes into play. The Rescue unit will be responsible for patient care. Everybody has a specific job to do!

  • @Jackus2008 Also in larger departments the ladder carries rescue equipment such as extraction tools such as Jaws of Life.

  • @Jackus2008 the 3rd truck carries equipment such as the jaws of life that could be used to extract anybody who may be stuck in a vehicle

  • Hey! This is my husbands station. Geronimo!

  • great video. that engine is kinda small though...

  • NICE!

  • DFD needs to get some Q's. get rid of the electronic siren(except the box) get a real siren!

  • I agree with you 100%.

  • the new rigs have whelens sirens

  • @Durren133 Their new trucks have them. Now all we need is for someone to film them.

  • @Durren133 As long as the apparatus gets the job done its Perfect just the way it is!

  • NIce video

  • thanks

  • Good ole Station 57 at Skillman/Audelia. I use to work that area when I worked 7 years with DPD at the Northeast substation. 37's at Blackwell/Greenville is a lot busier though.

  • Awesome video man. Keep up the good work. Let me know when you add more.

  • thanks
