This looks interesting but I dunno whether to give it a go, since Unleashed got my hopes up until the night time came, than I raged, lol.

Buy it..The game is awesome, and the game takes about 5 hours to beat however the game is still very fun and worth it...There are also tons of side missions to make the game last longer...And buy it from GameStop, play the game and if you don't like it sell it to them (At least you don't throw away the money) The sooner you try it the better

This guy didn't show the homing attack; and I can offically confirm that the homing attack does exists. I have the game; played it; and you need to press the A button twice while in mid-air. Btw... You may want to check the 'Legacy stages' somewhere on youtube. Would be interesting for you guys complaining about the sword.

Depends on the person. It's not auto-fail if it's on rails... However, it would be best described it as 'Modefied Rails'. A bit tweaked; so that Sonic does not run forward automatically. (so if you let the controller do nothing without pausing, or holding 'break' sonic would not move.)

Ok for the guys complaining about the homing attack; while youtube can't post the link of the source; this guy from 'Nintendo world report' experienced in the demo said: "You use the analog stick on the Nunchuk to move, you swing the sword with a gesture of the Wii Remote, and you jump with the A button. In addition, the Z button is used to block and you can do a lock-on attack with the B button." So the lock-on could be homing attack.

I'm not sure if the homing attack was completly removed. However if it was, it woulden't cause such a drama unless they did not design any areas for it. Remember; maybe it could be a skill obtained, who knows. (If an offical source stated that it did not home attack; I'll have to look back at the videos I have, and back up my edvidence.)

I dunno... Watch my percival trailer. Did you see this one part that Sonic made a jump dash? Reminds me from sonic and the secret rings; sorta like a home attack, but it didn't have an enemy to lock-on into. You may have a point about the sword doing nothing; but what about other things then the enemies? Like springs, and interactve objects.
Then again... the sword IS the Homing Attack.... well not really but just replaced with it, as long you still can do a jumpdash in the game the I have no complaints. :)

The boss isn't gay; but I'm pretty sure the boss was supposed to be kept simple in the first level.

If you had an L and R button like Unleashed(Day) or the roll(Night)
OR BETTER YET, NO ON-RAILS SYSTEM AT ALL(But, I gotta give Sega a lot respect. The game isn't half bad. And heck, on the final boss, I get my "L and R" =D)

NO! Buy it..The game is awesome, and the game takes about 5 hours to beat however the game is still very fun and worth it...There are also tons of side missions to make the game last longer...And buy it from GameStop, play the game and if you don't like it sell it to them (At least you don't throw away the money) The sooner you try it the better

This guy didn't show the homing attack; and I can offically confirm that the homing attack does exists. I have the game; played it; and you need to press the A button twice while in mid-air. Btw... You may want to check the 'Legacy stages' somewhere on youtube. Would be interesting for you guys complaining about the sword.

Check my action trailer, and the percival trailer. Although it's controlled by the computer... I'm not exactly sure if there's playable characters in story mode other then Sonic, but we'll find out soon during next week.

Depends on the person. It's not auto-fail if it's on rails... However, it would be best described it as 'Modefied Rails'. A bit tweaked; so that Sonic does not run forward automatically. (so if you let the controller do nothing without pausing, or holding 'break' sonic would not move.)

Ok for the guys complaining about the homing attack; while youtube can't post the link of the source; this guy from 'Nintendo world report' experienced in the demo said: "You use the analog stick on the Nunchuk to move, you swing the sword with a gesture of the Wii Remote, and you jump with the A button. In addition, the Z button is used to block and you can do a lock-on attack with the B button." So the lock-on could be homing attack.

He still has a Homing Attack, don't worry.
You do the same "Jump-dash-kill" move, but it uses a sword rather than Sonic in a ball.

I'm not sure if the homing attack was completly removed. However if it was, it woulden't cause such a drama unless they did not design any areas for it. Remember; maybe it could be a skill obtained, who knows. (If an offical source stated that it did not home attack; I'll have to look back at the videos I have, and back up my edvidence.)

I dunno... Watch my percival trailer. Did you see this one part that Sonic made a jump dash? Reminds me from sonic and the secret rings; sorta like a home attack, but it didn't have an enemy to lock-on into. You may have a point about the sword doing nothing; but what about other things then the enemies? Like springs, and interactve objects.

the online is for trading perposes only. You cant battle other people online on this game. You can only trade items and check the stats. I just read it on the IGN website.

I'm waiting for either one of two things to happen:
(A) A sale at Future Shop/Best Buy here in Canada that places it at $29.99 (3 weeks after SEGA Superstars Tennis was out, FS had it for $29.99 on sale, much to my excitement as I rented it just 2 weeks before that.)
(B) I may be able to get it for $15 from a connection. But nothing's set in stone even if I am very excited about it.
So whichever happens first.
But yes, I'm looking forward to trying this.
