i have a 2.2 cobalt ls 5 speed and its bone stock and i would like role it off a cliff with everyone that does this to a ls cobalt in it but i also have a cbr 600rr that is bad ass so do yourself a favor and keep the cobalt put it back to stock enjoy the mpg and buy yourself somthing with some power
ok dude not bashing just asking, why would you take a stock base cobalt 2.2 automatic with 145hp and pay someone to put stage 2 cams in it along with a cold air intake, some blue "racing" seats and a big ricer wing?
seriously dude you could have spent your money better (i mean the difference in price between the 2.2 and 2.4 is only like $600 and you get 172hp instead of 145 (a 27hp difference, about what you gained from your mods and cheaper than your mods, and theres room for mods!)

The filter that gm gives you sucks for airflow. if you put a better one in, there is a difference in power and gas. not much but there is.
