actually The Smiths basically wrote songs for mainly lonely people who had problems more so than for people who loved football and just wanted to rock out. johnny marr said so in a documentary but in a very condescending and actually quite derogatory manner.

This is the first live version i've heard of this song without that awful trumpet playing over the guitar at the end. Such a shame he didnt get rid of it earlier in the tour. It really spoilt the song.
