Not all the wirral is like this, Hoylake, Caldy, Heswall, Parkgate are great places, where people take pride and are concerned about the area.

So yes, Birkenhead is not the best area, but not everybody is scum.

I grew up in Birkenhead, left many years ago. Some aspects of the video I agree with, there are people who do not want or cannot change their circumstances, believing that what they have is what they are destined to have and be. I spent some time back there recently, I was shocked at how run down things were, the amount of young mothers, babies in prams, smoking or just off their heads. The amount of dog crap, litter and chewing gum on the floor, where has the respect gone.

Yes, Birkenhead, Seacombe, Bidston...Horrible places, full of scum, but by saying fuck the whole of Wirral based on a few people from the scummy area of Birkenhead? That's just being a child.

@davaw1 I havent always had this outlook. Its my experiences of how people are in merseyside have pushed me to feel this way. And the people who nicked my bikes, wallets, phones etc...didnt even know me to know how my attitude works so I wasnt targeted for that reason. I was simply a victim of their selfishness to consider someone elses feelings when they have commited these acts. Also, if you could possibly see it form my point of view rather than come across as a cold person with no empathy?

No, its affected me all my life, not just now, except Ive only now come to the end of my teather and been able to do something about it... move away. I shouldnt have had to move away to live my life in some peace and somewhat comfort, consequencially leaving my friends behind (a very few people who are actually ok in Birkenhead). I dont even speak to my familly because theyre all pricks aswell. And ive travelled up n down the country and where ever Ive been, nowhere has compared to Birkenscum...
