he is such a brilliant actor, i wish he would get more roles here in the US, too bad about that he has the talent/features/charisma of old Hollywood. I absolutely love him.
This last post of mine was meant in response to MocoLove for him taking umbrage to my earlier post.Odd,that people can get upset about t he smallest things I post, when others in some places say really ugly things and no one cares.Lol. NP,tho. I can apologize. I just had an opinion about her character, not the actress. That wouldnt have been kind.
**So ,if my post about her upset anyone else, please forgive me.
Weeeell,..she WAS a bit over the top for being in public, for those times.Forgive me if my post offended you.It wasnt meant to. I forget that people can be a bit thin skinned here sometimes. I just thought her role demanded for a bit too much fury for the scene,..thats all. Before possibly mentioning what would I know about if her fury was a bit over the top,..I do know,..quite a lot actually. I was raped, and had to go before a Judge. My attacker was there, and it wasnt fun,but I didnt flip out.
OMG!!! BRILLIANT!! I guess I will be searching the internet to buy this DVD. I only buy films I don't see on my cable, & only those films that move me & are amazing & that I want to see over & over. I haven't seen this kind of passion in an actor/film in ages.

@KevinDurandFan That's right!! He's one of my faves, but I hate this character. He's not like that in real life, though!! That makes him a good actor!
What a wonderful movie,no doubt one of the best horror/love movies ever,I wonder how long did her son survived, not many years I suppose.......boiled in hot water.....sled jumping.....or even a quick and "painless" shot, followed by diving ......Im sure,he had a lot of fun......
In Northern Norway during the 1860s, a little girl named Dina accidentally causes her mother's death. Overcome with grief, her father refuses to raise her, leaving her in the care of the household servants.Dina grows up wild and unmanageable, with her only friend being the stable boy, Tomas. She summons her mother's ghost and develops a strange fascination with death as well as a passion for living.
Family friend Jacob encourages Dina's father to hire Lorch, a tutor who introduces her to the cello. When Dina is old enough, she marries Jacob and moves to Reinsnes, a port he runs with his mother, Karen, and his stepsons Niels and Anders . Niels doesn't like Dina's wild ways, or the fact that she has taken over accounting duties at Reinsnes. Dina's eccentric tendencies become even stronger, eventually leading Jacob into an accident of his own and bringing Tomas back into her life.
I had neve herd of mads mikkelsen since i saw my favourite film casino royale, and he was brilliant in it. ive saw this clip and he's such a great actor, i would love to see all of this movieit looks so good and mads is so amazin!

I saw the film last night. It really brought the context of this scene into a different light...this was one of the best scenes in the film, as Mads gives a master acting performance. I agree w/ bishop and irishdiscco, as Mads is a brilliant actor, and deserves many accolades for his performance in Dina...*swoon!*
