fantastic job on that. almost too nice to drive. but what is the point of the brackets on the rear axle? do they just strenthen it on rough terrain? i would think the weak point would be the axles themselves but just woundering

the floor pans and chassis rails are in amazing condition on that car ,and the work carried out ,is absolutely first class, but saying that, a cant for the life of me understand why no one is making new bodyshells for these and the mk2 , it totally baffles me, its not as if they wouldnt sell , any way good luck and cheeRS.
