This looks like an amalgamation of the Screwtape letters, and its sequel Screwtape Proposes a Toast (the opening speech comes from that.) Both awesome books. Too bad Christian literature has become so bland since and afraid of offending anyone. The scene where the young man dies is perhaps the most moving account of what a Christian hopes to see at the end of his life.(the Left Behind books, for example. Good idea ruined by bad writing.) Even if you're athiest,it's a great book of many insights.
Just saw this last night in Wash. DC - very faithful to C.S. Lewis, as is their intent. This is the intelligent view behind the Christian faith. Worth the price; would see it again.
WONDERFUL book! I also loved The Snakebite Letters by Peter Kreeft. =3
It seemed to me like how C.S.Lewis would approach today's issues should he be alive.
This was truly wonderful to watch. The music, voices, actors, and lighting all created a beautifully dark and eerily familiar atmosphere that truly connected with y impression of The Screwtape Letters. ^^
Saw this over the weekend at Coral Springs Center for the Arts...it was awesome...they are travelling around the world with the act, hopefully everyone will have the opportunity to see it. God bless their travels and may he keep using them to bring people to Him.
I just saw this at the West side theater in NYC. Fantastic play.

That was weird. I'm confused. Who is the demon lady? I've read the book but this is weird. The dude is a good actor though. Very convincing.

The new cast is Peter Kevoian and Aislinn J. Mulligan playing in Chicago at the Mercury Theater and do you know who the old cast names were?

Love it! I want to watch the whole thing! Read the book, was good, but difficult to follow at some points, so a play would be fab!
