In under a year in the past, there have been at least 3 accidents. They all seemed to happen west of Jamaica station

March 27 2008 - Two trains bump

November 19 2008 - Double decker car jumps a switch and hits another train, slow speed.

Nov 23 2008 - one of the cars in the back goes the wrong way over a switch. I almost would've been in that accident, considering I sit in the back and that I regularly take the preceding train.

I hope it wasn't another texting accident either. But it's so terrible that these things have to happen considering many people have said the Washington Metro system is very safe and clean so anyway I hope we find out how this accident happened. R.I.P. to the people who lost their lives in this accident.
