so whats the deal with the Cork hurlers and Gerald McCarthy? I heard John Gardiner's statement and Seán Óg Ó hAilpín comments but i still don't quite understand what is going on except it started 7 years ago. why do the players dislike McCarthy? is it corruption or incompetance or do they just not like the way he was appointed? can someone enlighten me?

Great Match but I feel that 04 munster final was better probably better because twas a final. In fairness these 2 teams never fail to entertain. Just hope that Waterfords demolition in 08 does not end the era.

i totally agree the 2004 munster final was probably the best game of hurling i have ever seen, an absoloutley fnatastic match everything thats good about hurling was present that day. The only pity was that Cork lost no team deserved to be beaten that day
