Ha! Nice..One of my all time favorite movies. Like top 5. And probably the one I have seen more than any other. Funny watching all the "Harold!" exclaimations back to back. There is a lot of subtle humor in it too. Like Harold dressing exactly like his psychiatrist.
I dunno, Why DID YOU want to watch this in 2 minutes..?
The title kinda gives the concept of the video away, and it says quite clearly in the description, "if you want to see the best bits, it will take roughly 83 minutes", ie the maker of this video obviously agrees that the movie is great. idiot
This is absolutly one of my fav movies of all time. This is just wonderful. Thanks so much for posting this. I love the part at 0:58. My sis and I used to rewind that part over and over again. Great Movie.
I thought the same thing the first time I saw the movie, but now I absolutely love it. I think you have to just see it a few times to catch all the little things and understand the actual meaning. At least that's what it was like for me.
Try watching it again. It is weird and a bit upsetting the first time, but if you give it a second chance it'll probably make your list of favorite movies.
And isn't that just an amazing moment in film?! That slow-burn, wicked smile is just great; too bad you don't get to see his reaction when he turns back and sees his mom.
This is a great, silly little walk through the movie. Thanks for making me laugh!
i watched this movie when i was really sad and messed up at like three in the morning once. it was a pretty cool experience being in that mind set and up so early. i didn't quiet get it but i could really identify with harold you know? anyways this is one of my favorite movies of all time and i love the part where he blows himself up in the garden ^^ and the walks through the door and his date is all OMG! XD
ugh when i first seen it lol it was on a selectavison video diak player that i found and it skiped like really bad and it seemed like such a good movie so i looked everywhere for it and so i broke down and got it off ebay lol
funny.cult classic..maude teaches harold that everyone is different & individuals.she tells him not to back away from life to experiment and take chances, sing, dance, play music.HAROLD & MAUDE is a film about death and resurection, where death and life overlap.
Maude comes out of the nazi death camp full of life a "life-godess",wise and attuned to nature. Hal-Ashburys best film.
