Ha! Nice..One of my all time favorite movies. Like top 5. And probably the one I have seen more than any other. Funny watching all the "Harold!" exclaimations back to back. There is a lot of subtle humor in it too. Like Harold dressing exactly like his psychiatrist.

funny.cult classic..maude teaches harold that everyone is different & individuals.she tells him not to back away from life to experiment and take chances,sing,dance,play music.HAROLD & MAUDE is a film about death and resurection,where death and life overlap.

Maude comes out of the nazi death camp full of life a "life-godess",wise and attuned to nature. Hal-Ashburys best film.

similarities with the (1944), "curse of the cat people",by Val Lewton.about a similar friendship.
