As a fan of NASCAR, I do not think this was Patrick's fault. Truex definately came off the wall and tagged her. I think that he should get most of the blame here. But if that's passing under your standards, then you'll need TONS of emergency equipment and personnel because people will be KILLED!!

You are right about the fact that incidents in open wheel are much worse. Of course we know that wheel-to-wheel contact will send a car airborne at high speeds. Also, I've seen video of Tom Sneva's wreck at Indy in '75 and have seen the numerous airborne incidents over the years.

Look at how every other car comes out of the turn (track position). She is the only one coming out of it on the inside (and next to) another car. In my view, she was crowding him coming out of the turn and he sent a message. It was her first Bristol run, so it was a learning experience. Before the race, I predicted she'd go into the wall early on. She actually lasted a lot longer than I thought she would. Not a bad run, but don't be mad at Ryan. You were the one trying to run too hard, Danica.

I know she is talented compared to most professional drivers, she IS NOT talented compared to the other drivers in the Nationwide and Cup series. A good driver in that same car is winning races and running up front consistently, she has good equipment.
