  • My son taught us about geocaching and we found some really neat places near our home, one took us to a mine and the other a cemetery. That cave is great but I'm with you, I wouldn't go in. I'm a big chicken when it comes to things like that.

  • @shadowofjuniperhill Considering bear season is just past and I am confident there are a few very cranky bears in the general area, not stepping into what may well be one of them's bedroom seems prudent - not a matter of being chicken at all.

  • Geocashing looks like great fun. I think the entire thing looks like an adventure. Lots of good ideas being tossed about. Especially the one about being disinclined to enter the cave at this time of year. LOL! Thanks for sharing.

  • @JaxRL Adventure? Yes, very much so. Not all geocache treks end at a bear cave, but most locations are places that are both interesting and places you might not think to go to otherwise.

  • I use to do the geocashing. It is really fun to do. Someone stole my GPS. Haven't had the cash to get a new one.

  • @Buckrun11 What a dirty rat - stealing your GPS.

  • geocaching is one of the last vices i have lol

  • @MajorRager76 I've never considered geocaching a vice, but maybe I should. By the end of the day we had gone to a couple of other cool places and got completely chilled in the processes. That wasn't really a bright thing to do, but we did have fun.
