I'm playing this game right now for the first time and after playing all the other Silent Hill games I have to ask. Why do people hate this game so much?

The music is brilliant, the characters aren't that bad so far and the story is very interesting and is doing a pretty good job of keeping me on my toes as well as wanting to know more about what exactly is going on.

I think it's a great Silent Hill game, can't wait to play Silent Hill Downpour this October.

@ronvins Its disliked because it doesn't take place in Silent Hill(well, mostly doesn't :P) Thats why Homecoming isn't liked much either. I liked it though. If you like the SH franchise, I suggest Alan Wake :P

I don't think that this is a song of happiness. When I hear it it makes me look inside of myself and see something I don't care to see. A uncaring cold hearted person. It is the song of a person who wasnt loved as a child. It makes me think of a daughter standing over her mother with a colt 45 pointed at her head. Sad and fitting.

la verdad tienes razon en ese aspecto ya que se diferencia bastante de los titulos previos, mas que nada por eso...

pero aun asi es y sigue conservando su buena reputacion, ya que para mi sillent hill es resumida de manera sencilla un titulo de survival-horror inteligente y que consiste en correr de tus adversarios en la oscuridad de la noche sin tener la oportunidad de poder eliminar todo lo que ves y concentarte en sobrevivir como el genero lo sugiere como a comparacion de Resident Evil......

bueno la verdad es cierto tiene una historia que no tiene que ver en nada con las demas el sistema de compate tambien es diferente al de los otros juegos y no da tanto miedo como las otras entregas de Silent Hill

pero en si se debe ah que este jueno no seria un silent hill sino un juego aparte pero los creadores decidieron hacerlo un silent hill y le modificaron algunas cosas...

ahi s edebe la gran diferencia... pero de todas formas es un juego aceptable xP y si la banda sonora es buena

@Juanpaxst Este juego no te asusta, te perturba, el sistema de combate lo veo genial, el que si cambio horrible fue el de homecoming >.< aunqu todos sabemos que fue por la ausencia de team silent, silent hill 4 llego a ofrecer conceptos nuevos, como la vista de primera persona, o la idea de que no tienes que ir a silent hill, silent hill va por ti, todo eso conservando su estilo original, este silent y el 3, para mi simplemente fueron lo mejor, aunque todos adoren al silent 2 ¬¬

@OUTLAWCAZTnew eeeeso mismo pienso yo hermano..... en si este silent hill maneja mucho mejor lo que es el terror psicologico , un juego no apto para aquellas personas que sufran de claustrofobia. sin duda uno de mis silent hill favoritos XD.. pero heyyy no estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices del homecoming! para mi fue excelente, buena musica, buen diseño de escenarios, buen diseño de los enemigos buenos sonidos, aunque si no me gusto ese pobre diseño de los personajes, se ven como de ps1 XD

@Juanpaxst hey amigo mio... la verdad en parte no estoy de acuerdo con eso...en si cada silent hill es una historia diferente, solo silent hill 3 que si tiene que ver con el primer silent hill...... a mi parecer este silent hill 4 es uno de los mejores, por eso mismo. por ser diferente a los demas !! tal juego maneja mucho mejor lo que es terror psicológico ... es un juego que jamas podrian jugarlo aquellas personas que sufran de claustrofobia............

@EduardoCazarez yo lo jugué pero no pude pasarlo xD casi no daban balas y habian mostruos que te bajaban mucha salud.. Ayer pasé SILENT HILL HOMECOMING.. muy bueno, te lo recomiendo. Es el último de la saga
