I remember my gamecube version was glitched for Sonic's version, half the time my homing attcks would try to go straight to the top and end of catapulting me into the sand, sometimes I would try to bounce my way up and I would sometimes go off at a wierd angle... it meant that on a boss run this cost me 20 lives... Probably a scratch on the disc or something XD

Oh I hated this boss D: I was stuck on it for ages, argh it's annoying when you homing attack as Sonic once then it randomly does it twice WTH? & then the Egg Golem turns around then you fall and sink to your doom D: but I never realised back then is that you can get out of the sand by pressing the jump button repeatedly ugh I hate how I never knew that XD

@steeledminer616: He has a machine that can fly in the older sonic games, but apparently in this game, he rarely uses it to fly. When you actually play his levels, the machine he is in, walks and flies for only a short period of time before it loses power. He can use it to jump as well. He could have been using this machine to climb those platforms. I think the golem in general has artificial AI so it is automatic on command. It does have separate steps. They are separated on the golem's back.

@mooman55311 Biolizard is easy for me, I didn't say he was hard. Normally egg golem is easy, but the bug with the homing attack fuck me always. It's a very very annoying bug. This bug fuck also a good part of my time attack ( particulary in Crazy gadget where you have this bug = 90% to die ). But in Crazy gadget, I had one time a cheap bug. I take the spring, I die for no reason... And I was going to do a very nice time attack. I was so frustrating ._.
