  • Thanks you from France !

  • you got the general idea down, but some techniques that you said he used was not correct( i counted 3 right), nice try tho. i think you helped plenty of young magicians to understand the trick

  • this tutorial really helped me to understand some movements in this trick !! Thanks Pronwan for posting it and share it with us...

  • Look guys. This is my tutorial, I think best then this tutorial.

  • i have to agree with MarkHilkemeijer to this. there are so many mistakes in every stage. you are right on the amount of cards and where they are but the handlings are really of. and the simple tent vanish at 2:41 was superbad. this is not about guessing. it is about knowing. watcha nd analyse Mark Bautista's video better

  • Okay, I must give you this: you gave it a try at least. But in that case you should've called this a "What I think he does" video instead of a "Tutorial" or "Reveal". All of the guesses were really far off.

  • Sorry but this is a really really bad tutorial (and certainly not to be called -the- reveal). The only thing you were right on were that he indeed only uses 4 cards, but none of the stages were explained correctly in any way. None of the moves were even correct.

Also, you might want to have a look at the 'Free Online Magic Tutorials' video on my channel.

  • @MarkHilkemeijer Hehe, funny comment :-) I can understand that you're telling me the steps might not be 100% as I guessed them. Wich is clear, since I can only guess and give an idea of the solution. But you must be kidding with telling me every single step is absolutely wrong. You sound if I was explaining a completely differnt trick and if that had nothing to do with the performance. In my opinion you are absolutely and completely wrong with that. But thanky for your opinion :-)

  • @Pronwan As actual inventor of this routine, I can really tell that everything was wrong. Just some of the mistakes:

1:22 He didn't get any space or break.

2:02 He doesn't just drop the card and it would work great in real life too.

3:28 That is a really distorted view on magic. Moving your hand the other way makes it way worse.

4:05 Don't you see how unnatural that looks? That's really not what he does (and you flash it non-stop).

6:07 No way he did it like that! Whahahaha!

  • 7:31 The surface does not matter at all!

    I wasn't actually kidding.

  • Not to forget that you completely missed some things. Like at the shuffle you explained (or tried to explain) at 1:10 he does a very essential move you completely missed (which has absolutely nothing to do with getting a double lift actually).

  • @MarkHilkemeijer " but none of the stages were explained correctly in any way." That is a bit of a stretch. He only completely missed the method on one stage and that is the last one. The rest of it was pretty close with a few minor discrepancies. By the way Mark H. your little display only makes you look like more of an ass. You don't see Mark B. in here screaming to high heaven about it do you? Next time just let it go.

  • @thevisionist Sorry, but whenever you see tutorials online of someone's routine, the majority of inventors who are active on the internet Do actually comment to it in the same way I did. Mark B. didn't invent this routine and therefore he wouldn't have any reason to comment to it.

Let's just say that if you learn it from this video, you will not end up doing it very well. Please watch my 'Free Online Magic Tutorials' video and I think you will get the point.

  • @MarkHilkemeijer I have seen your video and understand your position on free online tutorials. I also have never seen a single inventor comment on tutorials of their material. I didn't learn this trick via this tutorial, I learned it, as I do most tricks, simply by watching the performance of the trick though i don't perform for audiences i only learn magic for my own edification.

  • il try

  • cheers!

  • i honestly think your reveal is a good one but doesnt cut it for me the first palm he does could clearly work with your method. but the second is not possible . as you say he needs to shift the top of the double card but yet going frame by frame reveals that the card appears on the left side from nowhere its not slid or tapped. theres no jerking of his hand or finger its a smooth slide but the card being revealed drops it doesnt slide into view. have another look

  • @DJUPLIFT Well, I still think my way is the right one. I believe he peels off the card at that point where he completely hides the double-card with his hand. He does it smooth and well timed. He peels it off, hides it with his hand, rubbs on the table and dropps it. Looks great and I believe he had to do a lot of tries to get this absolutely clean. Hope he didn't video-edit it ;) It's necessary that spectators watch 100% from the correct perspective to make this effect work.

  • @Pronwan The palm he uses is the tenkai palm. He peels off the bottom card and palms it. You were pretty close. Watch the performance a couple of times and it will make sense. Really the performance is easy to figure out once you know he only uses 4 cards. Your tut really helped a lot, thanks for it!!

  • nice! ur great

  • Good job!

  • Thanks for revealing. You did a very good job at explaining the trick.
