oh by all means action is by far one of teh best genres there is, i mean who can argue with teh first matrix film? amazing cinematography and fantastic storyline, also on a philosophical basis it was extremely reputable. BUT if you look at matrix 2 & 3, then you will find the inconsitancy of teh directors and producers blowing SHIT up just for teh sake of it! I'm not gonna argue that you can curve a bullet, but a bullet rotating and flying in a medium (air) is different from a bullet you are describing.

This is the same reason sharpshooters correct for wind and gravity.

Point is, you can "curve" a bullet, it's just that given how fast the bullet rotates & how fast a human hand can move in the transverse direction, the effect is non-existent, and, well the direction of the curve would be completely different. The movie's got way more problems than that, anyway. :)

even if a bullet was perfectly spherical, it wouldn't 'bend' unless it is spinning around it's Y axis which it wouldn't be (bullets spin around their Z axis when shot from a modern gun)

and, even if it was spinning around its Y axis, the amount of 'bend' would be infinitesimally small considering the speed at which bullets travel.

soccer balls bend because when they are kicked, they spin around the Y axis and they move much slower than bullets do.

well,be like shooting out the window of a car, cross wind, and the bullet moving into the wind 90 degree angle, but in a controlled vacum, where as the bullet distances, the wind increases, thus, the decrease of the bullets velocity, and the increase of the cross wind gradually ratiod, i reckon id bend a bullet path!! lol, think bout it!! :)
