they cannot tresspass. Everything is sacred, but.. distructive and constructive forces walk hand in hand, so as death and life. Our God/ess is everything and our mind can wander easily (and that way invoke unwanted presence). I work in a circle in diffrent way. I don't actaully draw the circle, but recite prayers that construct the same effect as a circle.
@HounganMoe I don't normally go through the process of walking the circle anymore, either. I've only done small, personal things so I just do my usual shielding and then move on, rather than going all the way around the space, I just envision it. It's quicker and more effective, to me.
"The space within the circle is between worlds" I think it's a great point; and you also make interesting points here Cara, and I agree- nature and life is sacred. The way I see it is that the forces (spirits) around us are as real as you and me, and our mind is a tool that can direct and work with these forces. When we draw the circle we prepare ourselves mentally and invoke the presence of the spirits we want there and at the same time let the "outside" or non-invited/harmfull spirits
When I refer to a world between worlds what I mean is that it is neither a space that is completely physical or completely spiritual. It is a place between those two worlds. It is a way if differentiating it from normal space because you have created a sacred place where you are in the presence of deity. It is also a place where power can be raised, contained, controlled and directed. Good video btw.
A transcendental space has to do with consciousness not so much in a mundane manner. Being between worlds means you are between spirit and the expression thereof. It's not making it more sacred but embracing the sacred essence therein.... The Quarters and elements correspond to states of manifestation. Being between worlds means defining the outer in relation to the inner, the above and the below, consciousness and sub-consciousness. It's a transcendent sate of awareness in which you work.
@DracoJesi You become aware of your own energy and that of creation and how it glows through everything. You embrace your responsibility as co-creator. Tied to both worlds you mediate.... and use the forces of creation for the need at hand. And the link between the two holds the many. It isn't abandoning either word but embracing the interconnectedness and of both and thus their true nature as one.
when i was probably in the 8th grade i still believed in the christian God, and i would always wear this cross and it was sacred to me. whenever i would pray i would clutch it, it never left my neck, i always had it. sometimes if i felt like i needed good luck i would hold it and say "may the Lord bless this cross and whoever shall wear it." then good things would happen. i didnt know at the time that i was preforming spellcraft with that cross and what kind of power it held afterwards.
@scott33195 =) Very cool. I still wear a cross ring sometimes that my mother gave me. Any Christian symbolism I wear now is more because it symbolizes my family.
Casting a circle is a ritual reminder of your auric field (which follows you if you leave the circle BTW). If you forget that you have an auric field it can be easily altered by forces externally and by your own consciousness. Be mindful. The circle is a re'mind'er.
@pleiadianstarseed I've never heard of it described that way. That's definitely not how I think of it. Of course your auric field follows if you leave the circle, your aura is always around you. I don't think of it as having anything to do with your aura except that that's a good way of explaining to people how it works. It's like an aura in that it's a shield of energy.
We are a circle, within a circle, with no beginning, and never ending. We are a fire, that keeps returning, and never ending, it's always burning. -sings- I love it!
@Roboctopuz Faith stands outside evidence. That's why it's called faith. Besides, I don't actually worship whole pantheons. I just use the names from pantheons when calling upon a specific aspect. My God and Goddess, which is what I call them normally, represent everything in nature. Nature is something I can see with my own eyes every day of my life. That is my religion.
@Trinis5 This is a late comment but this video was before I actually commented back to most comments. =P
No, there isn't. I don't ever have video of an actual act of magick, because it's extremely personal to me. I have some videos (on PaganPerspective) going through the motions of things like spells, but never doing them. The only thing I've actually DONE on camera is grounding and centering.
Thanks so much for this helpful information, my name is liza and im a wiccan witch(in training) ha ha ha! about a month ago i accidentally did a spell without a magick circle and i got in big trouble, my room was full of dark energy, i couldnt even go in it. but my friend who had lots of experience told me to do this and that and it helped alot... and so did this, thank you. And im just wondering if you are familiar of the book called
"The Goodly Spellbook"? message me back if you know :)
i see it as a bubble too ^-^ i posted a vid on shazoloos vid about why circles. i think i phrased the bubble issue almost exactly the same lol its alright there are alot of people that see a magical circle as a bubble or a oblong bubbled thing
wicca is a type paganism. Pagan Definition:One who is not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew, especially a worshiper of a polytheistic religion. Wicca Definition:A polytheistic Neo-Pagan nature religion inspired by various pre-Christian western European beliefs, whose central deity is a mother goddess and which includes the use of herbal magic and benign witchcraft. i hope i helped a little
NeoPaganism Definition:polytheistic religious movement, practiced in small groups by partisans of pre-Christian religious traditions such as Egyptian, Greek, Norse, and Celtic.
Such an honest video. thank you for sharing! I'm rediscovering my path :)

Is there a video of you actually casting your circle? You have been so helpful, and the fact that you are so young is even more-so awesome.
