  • I wish I could play one note as good as Branford can. Hell, I wish I could play a rest as well as Branford can!

  • Man,this is what it's all about.American music at it's best.So good it's claimed by the world.Bravo, please keep posting,Because finding good music like this on the radio is few and far between.Even with satilite.

  • He's great at stating and expanding the theme. Bass player has gauges, kool.

  • Phenomenal Branford can refresh each standard. It sounds so extremely ... , in his phrases actually can hear Rollins' influence.Eric Revis plays like an inspired Bob Cranshaw.I belong to the people who are bored with useless virtuosity and cheap gimmicks. That is why I listen Branford quartet.Besides listening to this music you can learn a lot of humility in playing jazz ...

  • Justin Faulkner's face at 3:32

  • this such awesome arrangement!

  • This has only 35,000 views, while Rebecca Black has over 6,000,000?! Hmm...something's not right...

  • its nice to see a good jazz artist thats still alive

  • @giovannibulgari You got no idea who these guys are.

  • @lorenzini I have a pretty fair idea lorenzini, check my channel. You're trying to compare these guys to Kirkland, J.T Watts and Robert Hurst, it's like comparing Miles' 80's quartet to Tony Williams, Ron Carter and Herbie.

  • The new drummer Justin Faulkner-is a badd mutha on da drum kit!

  • Bawl Really Be Stickin Heavy Forreal...His Little Brother Is Just As Nice On Drums As He His

  • beautiful.

  • @DasWuddItB I know. It's my absolute favorite sound of all time.

  • You can notice that at 4:16 Justin switches cymbals and Eric Revis tells him to pick one. As in pick one cymbal and stick with it. I didn't really realize this until a year ago but when a drummer switches cymbals so frequently it really throws off or drops the intensity that is created. In a sense it keeps changing the landscape that band started with.

  • @Jazzman303

Not sure, I think he asked him to lay down that half time feel with the "cross stick".

notice that he does switche later on during the solo

  • @wataday2day Well he still changes it up a little too much. A lot of dudes get pretty mad about it and sometimes I agree or don't mind at all..it doesn't bother me that much but here I see it not working very well textually with the walking solo.

  • Justin Faulkner - so proud of you.

  • Incredible great. So nice to hear.

  • wonderful as always!!!

  • Nice and tradition Branford . Love it

  • There's class and then there's class and then there's class!

  • Eric Ravis rocks as hell

  • branford must have been listening to a lot of sonny that day!

  • @soursourapples

haha that's exactly what i was thinking

  • @soursourapples

He even shaved his head to replicate the look as well.

  • Amazing! thanks fort the video!
