What is most amazing about this movie is how it captures the true experience of life. After a certain number of years one's memories and one's current experience become intertwined in a way that is indescribable in words, but well captured in this movie. Inside you are 12, 18, 34, etc. You walk around in the daily world and you love its beauty, but what you see is always inescapably impressed upon by memory and its intrusive meaning.

I think people who leave good comments for this film are Non-Jesus believers aka Jews. Maybe Jews felt left out because there have never been Jewish Gang Films before so they leave good comments. I would too if I was Jewish ( Thank God im not) I love Bacon.
This film is ok I just dont like Noodles, the man is a Rapist and a Rat. The worst things in Life. Its his fault Patsy & Cockeye died cause Noodles Ratted to the Police so they knew they were coming The girl doesnt want you, than move on.
One of the best movies ever. I love this show. I watch it at least once a year.
