  • Mr. Brownstone

  • melhor pedal do meu set!!!! the best pedal of my set!!!

  • I still think the Tech 21 British is the one of the best bang for buck plexi pedals out there.

  • which radial pedal would the best for me. i play pop-punk/alternative mainly. then mess with everything else. the hollywood, london, or fullerton??

  • @lstenterpriseguy

Between the 3, I'd recommend the Hollywood. I own the London and love it, but I play a completely different style than you. My buddy owns the Hollywood, and I think it would better suit your needs.

  • @lstenterpriseguy boss ds1

  • try putting this pedals drive to above 12 o clock - it clips

  • @MrVoid77

my pedal too clips above 12 o clock, and the volume drops...

  • @maguitarrist

is it a defect in some pedals or do with all london distortion?

  • Sounds amazing for a non tube pedal. Can this also get lower gains for Guns N Roses tones?

  • Is this capable of the getting the same live crsipy Van Halen brown sound circa 1981 like the Hot British? I mean, for an extra 30 bucks u can get one with a tube.

  • mr brownstone! niice

  • the tube pedals sounds way more organic and not so harsh

  • i actually like this demo better than the plexitube one

  • The cool thing about the 'kick' switch is that it actually boosts the low mids, which gives it extra growl instead of making it sound more nasal.

  • @ showsjohn. an amp with an attenuator is a great way to push a tube amp into overdrive with out the massive volume norm needed

  • THIS?? or the JECKYL and HYDE????

  • This. It sounds more natural.

  • this. not even close. i've had both. just sold the jeckyl and hyde. still have the london.

  • i don't worry bout nothin no coz worryin's a a waist of my time

  • @leddeath80 you're tottaly right

  • would this be a good choice for a class 5 boost, or are these pedals best used with a good clean channel like on a fender? Trying to figure out how to get good overdrive sounds at low volume.

  • get an amp with a power level control, then you can get the highgain sound at low volume.

  • I go to bed around seven,

and get out of bed around two.

    7am/2pm

  • This sounds really nice. But a $3,000 combo amp is gonna do that for ya too.

  • Jeez, I would really hope so.

  • I get up around seven.......

  • I think the 30 bucks extra for the tube version is worth it

  • I just got this pedal about half an hour ago. Sounds great over the cleans of my AC30. But I did notice it got a bit noisy when the drive is past 12 O'Clock and I had to push the level up quite a lot to keep it in unison with my clean sound.

After a little while I got some good tones out of it, so I can only imagine how good it's gonna sound with more experimentation =)

    Awesome for 80s hard rock!

  • he wont leave me aloneeeeeeee

  • Not bad-still sounds like a pedal! Tube pedals get closer!

  • I tried out this pedal at rudy's music shop in New York and the pedal is indeed the best pedal distortion out there!!!

It sounds the best with humbuckers (Gibson Les Paul Or SG Standard).

  • Just curious: analog or digital?

  • must be analog... i would be very surprised that radial sell digital stuff

  • how much does this pedal cost

  • $160

  • How does this compare to the Plexitube? I have watched both videos, but was wondering if anyone had any advice.

  • this kicks the piss out of the plexi =->

  • mr.brownstones!

  • is it true bypass?

  • I doubt it. Usually, when a pedal has true bypass, the company or person reviewing it makes a point to mention it in the video or in the description. Pedal sounds good, though. Question for me would be whether to get this one or the Radial Hollywood Distortion Bones pedal.

  • This baby is a staple on my pedal board! Good Stuff!!!

  • I love this pedal.

There is always something bad about a pedal.

The Vox satchurator is great, but it gets really harsh when you turn the tone up. Plus, if you turn it down, it gets to much low end.

MXR (MY FAVORITE COMPANY) Distortion + is awesome, but to fuzzy.

This pedal, the Radial London Bones, is awesome, and it is flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what song is at 2:54?

  • does this have alot of gain?

  • must have. just look at the drive knob through the video. its pretty low, and you hear a lot of gain.

  • I just bought one its awesome fat tone and its clear ass hell!

  • is it a new product?

  • is it just me or are the radials the best sounding distortions? i also like the new vox satch and the ibanez tube king some.... anyone wanna talk about pedals write me

  • hi..i wanna that your opinion..i have a hardwire cm-2 overrive..i wonder if you can suggest a good distortion beside it..im choosing between mxr dis 3 and the vox satch..so wat do you think.thanks

  • how would this sound on a solid state amp? any ideas? and what kind of amp do they use in these videos? i never can catch it

  • Usually a 65 Amps Soho.

  • the older ones he uses a 65 Soho - nowadays it's a Fender Deluxe reissue.

  • I'm so happy to see a dual-dist pedal where the boost actually boosts, rather than cuts mids! Finally.

  • We been dancin' with...Mr Brownstone...he's been knockin'...he won't leave me alooooooooonneee....won't leeme alone!

  • Buyed one, I use wah before distortion.

My wah is a Crybaby Classic, but the sound matched with Bones London is really horrible, I think becouse of the buffer.

Could you make a try, and tell me if a crybaby (or maybe it's the same for every wah) works better with a Plexitube? In this case I'll buy the Plexi (which got a regular true bypass switch).

    Thanks.

  • Any wah I tried worked fine with my classic tonebone if it helps...

  • I like this one and the Reezafratzitz. Oh the important decisions in life. Why am I compelled to buy forty thousand fuzz/OD/distortion pedals?

  • Because they are so delicious? :-)

  • I KNOW!! I have two Devi Ever pedals in the mail right now!!! I'm a frakkin crackhead!!

  • this sounds like it would be good for modern day rock.. is this correct? i would like to get one if it is.

  • i wonder how this would compare with the hot brit.

  • made in canada

  • @mondosucko CRAP, I was gonna buy it!

  • MR.BROWNSTONE

  • This is a SCARY sounding pedal! So many possibilities!

  • I wish you would set fire to that 65 amps Soho. What a POS amp to demo pedals

  • HAH!! I watch all these freakin gear reviews. I'm ready for another amp sound too!

  • i wish when i went to 6th grade we had a talent show :(

  • More like lack of talent shows... all of those things sucked. There was never any talent, just a bunch of dildos who thought they were cool because they played butchered versions good (and not so good) songs.

  • i am in college now and i never did talent shows. because i am the type that believes if the performance suck why do it at all. all of them did suck in 6 grade - 12 grade, but it takes some balls to get on stage do shit so i always gave props.

  • that was a great opening song! I played that in 6th grade at our school talent show. good times

  • how much does this cost?

  • These are $159 and currently only available at ProGuitarShop, com

  • Comment removed

  • How much gain can this thing really get?

  • i like this one the most out of the three of the bones ones

  • Mr. Brownstoneee.... leave me aloneeee....

    Perfect choice!

  • We all love Mr.Brownstone, don't we?

  • we do!
