Dean and Anna were cute together, but if you watch THE episode where they finally hit it off, it seems to me that they do it simply to do it... I want Dean to be happy, and if they continue this relationship that would be awesome, but i think Dean wanted Cassie the most, despite what i prefer lol

I'm sorry, I can't let this go. Can you please rewatch this episode and what Dean's face when Anna tells him she knows what he did. the one right before they sleep together. and then watch the end when she turns her in to the angels. Watch the facial expressions closely. It is bothering me that a fan would have so little understanding of Dean's basic character that they would call this a "one night stand" and what he did feeding her to the wolves.

I have to agree. he didn't feed her to the wolves- he was forced to give up a woman who was already wanted for a "crime" in order to protect his brother. And she seems to hold no grudge for him. and I think he had feelings for her.

Regardless- I am claiming artistic license.

I don't think they were in love, but there was deep caring there on both sides. "A one night stand"? Please! Considering all Dean had been through,who Anna was and what she knew about him, that night would have meant so much for him in terms of comfort/forgiveness. And considering what Anna was about to go through in trying to retain her grace, all she stood to lose in the way of human feeling, it would have meant a great deal to her too.There's so much feeling that people seemed to have missed

I agree- my whole point is this:

She knew what he'd done and she accepted that. They made a very deep connection that Dean could never have made with any "regular" girl.

And like you said, Anna was operating under the assumption that she was facing a sentence in the morning and wanted to have a meaningful experience with someone with whom she connected.

and Dean's face in the end when Castiel and Uriel showed up for Anna. He was in pain over the decision, and very likely, over the loss.

I love the anna/dean pairing. really hope we get to see her some more this season. this video just made me feel all the things I felt in the episode all over. in fact, you took the clips from the episode and I feel like you got even more out of it in this arrangement then there was to start with; congrats!
