  • Dude, I've found that no matter how many times I watch this video, I never notice the bears that can right? hahahahaha

  • Good job for two weeks prep time. Your grip seems a little loose. At higher tempos, are you squeezing and using your fingers? That helps and is rudimentally correct, I think.

  • At some points, I was squeezing too much actually. I think looking back on this now, I wasn't playing through the head enough to generate the proper rebound and control. That and my traditional grip chops just suck in general. LOL

  • Hey, you should keep playing. I have been playing a division I Corps level since 1987 and I still enjoy it greatly. Drumming is great fun. Just when you think that you've seen it all, someone will invent a new hybrid.

I'm learning to play a "Walt Diddle." If you search Nick Angeles on Youtube, you'll get to see it played by a master.

    Spass Beim Spielen!

  • A walt diddle? Sounds fun. Details please!

  • just work on the grace notes and taps like peeps have said

  • I would've had more time to refine it, but unfortunately my prep time was only 2 weeks. This was also done in April, right before the corps season began, so my chops weren't in the greatest shape.

  • this kid is like fucking amazing at drums. im glad i chose to go out for band.

  • not bad for two weeks

  • your taps are like a mile high and your about 40 bpm under tempo

  • I know. I only had about two weeks to get it thrown together, and it was only for student recital, so I wasn't fretting too much about stick heights.

  • i know him

  • Cool! I am honored.

  • Hoser.

  • LIES!
