Love it, love it, love it...Thanks so much for posting this beautiful visual and aural glimpse of a Goa distant in time and space - unfortunately. Does anyone know where I can find the lyrics for this song?
Joe I seem to recognize the location of this video. The church is the Holy Spirit church in Margao and also some shots of Ponne Bazaar.I actually lived in Borda not very far away from there.I now live in England.
...actually I believe the trumpet is probably Frank Fernand, another excellent musician, I have told several friends and family members about this video, and found a store that had a few CD's and is looking for more Goan music and DVD's. Joe, you are doing a great service to all Goans, and Goan culture, Jacinto is the equal of Cantinflas or Fernandel, again, thanks, Yves
unbelievable jazz around 2.24 in this, great singer also, actually I LOVE this music Joe, makes me want to take my trumpet and move to goa, I've been looking for this music for decades (and I live by a million Indian stores, they always look at me with blank stares re this music and culture),BTW is that the legendary Chic Chocolate on trumpet, he's playing great jazz (I know he was Goan, and that he is on the movie Albela as the trumpeter/band leader), merci from Yves Francois in Chicago USA
Joe, Your deserve a GOAN GOLD MEDAL for promoting the Goan music around the globe. I congratulate you on this very noble initiative of yours. With kind regards - Jaime Sanches de Souza - Portugal

I tried playing and it does n't work, only waste of time. Do something and get it rectified. I am dejected with this source.
