Besides his playing style--who said you need to blister the fretboard with speed?--as long as you're well-versed with chords, their substitutions and arpeggios, you can indeed express your passions through guitar. I also love the condition of his apartment--I aspire to be less neat and practice more what I preach with respect to chords, arpeggios, etc.
