Shatner is older than Stewart, but for the times their shows were filmed, Kirk was filmed in his 30's and Picard in his 50's. In spite of this, if you saw them both shirtless, Stewart weightlifts and Shatner was just husky, and even then not very solid. However, put them both in the same movie, and even though they didn't fight each other, they both fought Soren (Malcolm McDowell). Soren whupped Picard and Kirk whupped Soren. So there ya have it. Kirk wins.

believe it or not jedi combat skills are a little understated in the movies. Jedi are capable of feats of strength and speed far beyond what any normal member of their particular species could dream. With the Force guiding them they effectively know all your moves before you do too.
