I've heard that Busan has a large Russian population, is that true? Does it have large foreigners? I'm interested in living and working in Busan, how is its weather like? I don't like cold weather much. Is Busan safe and modern (westernized) in terms of housing, public transportation, shopping, etc?
What's the cost of living in Busan compare to New York City? One bedroom apt in NYC is about $1600, how much is it in Busan in USD terms? A six pack of Heineken costs $8 in NYC. Thanks.
well, it's all relative. for korea, with such a small immigrant population, yes, it's large. but definitely not by NYC standards. there's a small concentration of russian shops on texas street, and in the vicinity. you can even see russian "working" girls. relax, nothing special. busan has much nicer weather than seoul, where i now live. it rarely gets snow, and while it does get cold in winter, it's not severe at all. korea, outside of housing, is cheap, and housing is much cheaper than nyc.
i enjoyed your video! i'd like to travel to S. Korea and i hope soon cause i'm a huge fan of this country! you seem to be loving your stay there canadian root! do you live there now if i may ask or temporarily working (at the beach joke joke) in Korea? thnx again for this video
Hi Wally, thanks for interesting video. I have a question. I'm an Asian student who wants to teach English in Korea(South), but I study in the US. Are there any chance if non native English speaker wants to teach?
What is your nationality? You probably would not be able to get work, unless it was with a low-standard school. I don't mean that to be rude, but since English is not your first language, it would be almost impossible. I have heard of others, but they might have been from Poland or Germany, places like that. I think you could teach your own native language here, if it is in demand. I hope that helps, or clears things up. Good luck!
somewhat. it was impromptu. i had no notice. gf just turned camera on me. i have no illusions about giving up my day job (scouring the beach for worn seashells that i can use for teeth).
the tooth of the matter - even korea has hosers, eh
