@gildrop I think it's alittle more than that. It was actually the corporate machine that was CNN that made millions off the wrestlers and once they did, they stopped putting money into it. They didn't have any clue how to run a wrestling company, hence hiring Vince Russo who along with another guy ran WCW into the ground. When AOL/Time Warner took over, they didn't want it and that's when Vince was able to buy WCW cause he had the connections to do so. There's more but that's all 4 now
