Assassin's Creed II Debut Trailer

Can someone answer this for me... This cinematic automatically plays at the beginning of the game if you don't press start for a minute or two. But mine has a HUGE difference between it and this one. Everything plays normally up until Ezio drops off the roof the the street below, then all of a suddden the rest of the conversation cuts out, from the moment he starts clapping at 2:50 until the end I can't hear anything he says even though his lips are still moving and everything. Help!!

The ring of the bell is so epic. It was in AC1 when Altiar killed the executioner, and now where Ezio shoots the templar. If the bell appears in AC3, that automatically makes it an awsome game. Plus it should have been in Brotherhood and Revelations.

Another version of this video appears in the game but not in the story line. it only appears if you let the game sit on the opening (press start) menu for a few minutes. (the one before the games main menu.) and in that video the second guy never talks.

Well that would make sense if he had all the abilities that Ezio has, not even counting Ezio's equipment. But he doesn't at the time of AC1. It makes sense though, Ezio is older than him at the end of AC2 than altair was in AC1. I'd say they're equally awesome, and Revelations will show more of who Altair actually was.

@Eaglesolidus If you actually do research the Assassins are/were a real order so were/are the Templars. Masyaf from the first AC is the actual birthplace of the Assassins. In 1400 and 1500 Italy there really were Assassins. Some speculate there still are today and that both groups do exist. The Templars do for sure seeing as they recently came to light in the press about the slaying in Norway when the man claimed he did it because he was a Templar Knight.

@cloggers11 I just got it, after playing a AC 1 I'm super surprised by how much Ubisoft improved with AC II. Altair may have been a cold blooded mother fucker, but he didn't feel like a real person. Ezio actually seems real even if he isn't as ruthless.

@horeslayer Considering we were made to think the Templars were the good guys... and the 'Hashashins' were actually the bad, I think Ubisoft did a pretty good job turning the tables. I read a book called 'Brethren' all about the 3rd crusades a while back, it totally switched me from being in favour of the assassins to the templars! Obviously the AC series is a video games, it's never really going to be the same

I just thought that it was stupid how black and white Ubisoft made the Crusades seem. They made your targets seem so straight up evil, even though they were complex people that were products of the time period. The assassins were after their personal gain just as much as the Templars were, and they certainly weren't existentialists trying to end the crusades.

Why doesn't people just get their updates from Ubisoft on Facebook? The next AC will be called Revelations, it will feature Altaïr as well as Ezio, and the setting is Constantinople (probably has something to do with the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires). It will be released in november.

@teddyshah the new AC title is Revelations. Meaning this isnt AC3. Ubisoft mentioned that any AC title that features a new assassin and sequel will feature will be a number. Like how AC2 was Ezio and Brotherhood was an extended story of his life. There are rumors that Altair could be in the new game so if it really him , I guess could be a prequel or an expansion of AC1 just like Brotherhood. But not sure if its for the main consoles like PS3 and 360. Could be a handheld or Iphone game.

Are we so ingrained in our cinematic stereotypes, that the protagonist cannot have a Middle-Eastern accent? Is the accent evil or something (Al Mualim had the most obvious Middle-Eastern accent).

But then again, Malik had the accent so why couldn't Altair?
