If you will not aid him (the Prophet), Allah certainly aided him when those who disbelieved expelled him; he (the Prophet) had no more than him, him being the second of the two (i.e. Abu Bakr), when they were both in the cave, when he (the Prophet) said to his companion (Abu Bakr): Grieve not, surely Allah is with us. Then Allah caused His Sakinah (serenity, peace, tranquility, etc.) to descend upon him (Abu Bakr) (Quran, 9:40)
Allahs Messenger added, No doubt, I am indebted to Abu Bakr more than to anybody else regarding both his companionship and his wealth. And if I had to take a Khaleel (friend) from my followers, I would certainly have taken Abu Bakr, but the fraternity of Islam is sufficient. Let no door of the Mosque remain open, except the door of Abu Bakr.

Do not be deceived by people of Kufa. They are those same Shia of your father from whom he so dearly wished to part, by death or by being killed. The Kuffans have lied to me and have lied to you, and a liar has no sense.

If you will not aid him (the Prophet), Allah certainly aided him when those who disbelieved expelled him; he (the Prophet) had no more than him, him being the second of the two (i.e. Abu Bakr), when they were both in the cave, when he (the Prophet) said to his companion (Abu Bakr): Grieve not, surely Allah is with us. Then Allah caused His Sakinah (serenity, peace, tranquility, etc.) to descend upon him (Abu Bakr) (Quran, 9:40)

And if I had to take a Khaleel (friend) from my followers, I would certainly have taken Abu Bakr, but the fraternity of Islam is sufficient. Let no door of the Mosque remain open, except the door of Abu Bakr.

I can tell you people- you guys are all confused. Number one, in responce to Imam Jaffar as Sadiq's (A.S) saying about the people who put hatred towards them are those that claim to love us- which are obviously the shia. Yes, you people must look into the context of this saying, when it was said, and why it was said. Imam Jaffar as Saqiq was referring to those who commit acvtions of bad deeds, but still claim to love them.

These Shia would claim that they love Ahlel Bayt and yet they would continually betray and backstab Ahlel Bayt, and do things that the Ahlel Bayt forbade. Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (رضّى الله عنه) said the following about the so-called Shia:
