this was nice. were just about to become silver members for Norwegian Cruise Line, and it does pay to be frequent cruisers with a company. it seems as if RCI takes really good care of it's frequent cruisers. :)

I'm a diamond member (11 cruises with RCCL) and its absolutely true!! They treat us great.
One time we missed our cruise due to a snow storm. We made it to the departure airport late only to see the ship about 5 miles out to sea. We were put up for the night by the airline (we came in on an alternate airline so RCCL reps didn't know to expect us). The next day we contacted RCCL, they put us up for a second night in a 5 star hotel (el convento, Puerto Rico). They Flew us to Aruba next day.

We met the ship in Aruba. That night on the ship they reimbursed us for our food, taxis, rental car, and any other expenditures we had as well as reimbersed us for the 2 days we missed on the ship ($700.00 per couple - we were 4 couples)
With the fun we had at El Convento and on the reminder of the cruise it turned out to be one of the best cruises we have gone on and its one we will never forget. RCCL was great!!
