Better yet It would work better if the people were divided according to what they stand for. For example the basic criteria could be for group A: No Federal Reserve, No Taxes, Free Market, etc and group Z:against what group A wants. The list would be Public so we know where each of us stands. We need to know where we stand so everyone will know where and with who they belong and can trust. I cannot trust anyone in group Z. What list do you belong on?

If you own gold do not think of it the same way you would if it were stocks or property. Its value will be in actual buying power. When inflation kicks in, the dollar declines, interest rates are double digits and we eventually go into a deflationary cycle gold will hold its value.
