  • I too have been feeding homeless cat's. It started out that there was 4 kitties who came 2 my back door, lookin 4 food. After 1 year there's only 1 left. She talks 2 me but wont let me near her. My heart breaks 4 these cat's & I will do anything 2 help them.

  • Its good of you but you should really take them in or get them rehomed, it's risky giving them food and affection they'll associate food and affection with humans and not everyone is as kind as you there are some real evil psychotic bastards about who wouldn't think twice about killing a cat and plenty of them seem to post on youtube. So you may well be doing them a disservice. Just saying.

  • i also had a homeless cat freind, he was adorable and lovable, we played alot, i fed him and i can see he feels safe and happy with me, but one day he suddenly disappeared, i really miss him but i cant search for him since hes not really mine and maybe someone already took him in, or maybe he is lost and hungry, i tryed searching around the area, but i still cant find him anywhere :'(

  • @lovlyanime I know how you feel, I recently lost one of the alpha cats to death and injury. Moonlight, which is Mystic's older brother, was kicked in the side twice, and had been deteriorating gradually until he could no longer eat, then he vanished, probably off to somewhere where he would pass away in peace. I do miss him and I could notice that his younger sister, in this video, was depressed for a short while. Don't worry, over time, God will give you another cat to care for.

  • if you feed and spend time with it then it's not really homeless as much as it is yours? O.o

  • @saph2104 The purpose of spending time with a homeless cat, such as feeding it and socializing with it, gives it a sense of being accepted among society, whether or not they were born in the wild, or just dumped somewhere to starve. As a great author, James Herriot, says "All animals, too, are human beings!"

  • glad to know that you are not like most blacks who abuse animals and raise dogs to fight.

    You have a good heart!

  • fabulous cats. shame they're homeless but lucky to have a good soul like you to feed 'em. they look happy enough.

  • I have a question. Are homeless cat really desperate to make friend with me or are they still afraid of humans and runs away?

  • well i think that depends on the cat a cat that never had humans "friends" (ex born in the street) will not look for human friends (may look for human to guive him free food) while one that was abandoned may look for some human "compassion" which he lost when he was abandoned by their masters my opinion tough

  • aww how sweet of you to take care of them we need more ppl lyke u!

  • thats really nice of you to feed and spend time with those lovely cats. wish there were more people like you. keep it up!

  • Thanks, another homeless man also has picked up some of the burden and the cats like him as well. Recently, someone destroyed their feeding dish, so I have to buy a new one in a couple days.

I will be working with a nearby fire department and see f they can provide some straw bales for the cats' wind shelter. One of the cats did not want to eat in the bitter northerly winds and I felt bad that it did not want to eat. They, too, are human!
