Adjusting Your Watch Bracelet

Thanks for the video, it showed everyone just how easy it is. I bought a watch adjusting kit from Amazon, they're even cheaper on Ebay and have adjusted more than a dozen of my own watches in the last 2 months. I use the hammer, pin punch and block on all of my watches. I have found Ebay to be the best place on finding watch tools or all kinds.

Tool is not wide enough for large watch bands. I modified it to fit. The tool is NOT made well for big watches. Do you know a part number of a tool like this for wide (28MM) bands? Thanks

@ZosoStar The only way I know of adjusting wide bands is with a hammer. The band must be removed from the watch before banging away with the hammer.

I ordered the Invicta Men's 1276 II Collection Chronograph Gold Dial 18k Gold Ion-Plated Stainless Steel Watch from Amazon a few days ago, it has been shipped. I was going to take it to a jeweler to be adjusted, but your video is so very helpful, that I'll do it myself. I also ordered a watch adjusting kit, it also has been shipped. Very helpful! I'd like to add this bit of advice: Once the pins were out of my Invicta 43659-004, they would not just snap back in like the ones in the video did. All I had lying around were a set of needlenose pliers that, despite not having the best angle, were still able to pop them back in with the right amount of pressure. Might not want to do that if yours is gold-plated or something, but mine is "black ion-plated" and I figured it could take it. And it did.

If anyone is wondering, you can re-size the bracelet without buying a tool. I did it immediately after seeing the vid you can use a paper pin took 30 seconds. If you cant wait till you get the tool its a faster way to do it. Helpful video thanks

Easy video to follow with this new Invicta tool. I would have never figured this out. I did bend one pin, but the kit fortunately came with three.

i dont have that tool, and i tried with a ahmmer/pushpun. I tried so many times but its just not coming out. Am ii hitting iot too lightly? because all i really did was a few taps, but the hammer was hevy so i thought it would do the trick.

What if the bracelet is too big to fit in the area on the tool?

@susanhtr1 Then you have to resort to a hammer. Before using a hammer the bracelet must be removed from the watch to protect the movement from damage.

Hi, how do I remove a part of the link that doesn't have the pin/screw? I've removed every band I could that has holes/screws but the watch still sags on my wrist.

Well I've unscrewed every screws from the bracelet. I don't know how to take out the area that doesn't have the screws.

Amazon, you can find them for $3.00 and higher. Get one with extra pins. Search for "Watch Band Adjuster." These will work on most pin style bracelets up to 22mm.
