Great video. And also just to add to what you were saying, the prettier enclosures usually don't hold great temps and humidity like the tubs do. They may be less attractive but they almost guarentee perfect sheds. I just switched to tubs and i love it

Take a hacksaw to those tubes, and you can cut them down to make them more snug with the tubs, then add another plastic rack on top of it. Mine holds 9 levels, same concept. :)

okay i used to have a ball python in a 16qt tub but the humidity was way to high all the time even with a lot of holes drilled in it. and i moved her to a tank and the humidity is perfect now. i plan on getting a few more snakes and i need a rack cuz tanks take up alot of space. i plan on making one and my only problem is the humidity. i live in california and the humidity is like 50-60% but in the tubs its much higher. would this be okay for a ball python?

most boas change color darker/lighter depending on the heat, ie.. at night when it's cooler they will change color :D known issue in the display world for shows etc... if you want them to look the best put a little heat under the display's so they'll look better, learned from a boaphile video :D.

I built my rack the same way, only I cut the tubes of the rack with a hacksaw to make it them smaller, so the tubs fit snuggly.
