  • Just speechless.

  • Not all churches are deceived on this matter but many are. The free will heresy is a false gospel that says you can come to Jesus by your own power and free will. Not so. See John 1:12,13. Those who believe are said to believe because they are "born of God". When a professing Christian tries to lead a person in the so called "sinners prayer" and then gives this person assurance based on saying this prayer then this is dangerous and wrong. Grace and faith are sovereignly given. Eph 2:8,9

  • THEMOSSANDELIJAH1 You said, "you need jesus christ and god and a real man of god to be preach to your false preachers and false prophets usa is flooded with are going to lake of fire, majority are going to lake of fire, your comments shows how much ingorants you have in no knowledge of god and jesus and his disciples and no knowledge of the spirit of god i put these to your shame" You just made false claims regarding me unless you can prove them. I suspect I know more about your god than you do.

  • @99minerkc I'll make it easy for you: What do I need jesus? In what ways do I lack knowledge of god, jesus, and his disciples? Please be specific in your responses.

  • @THEMOSESANDELIJAH1 You need to find yourself a wife and have some sex. You no doubt have too much time on your hands. You poor indoctrinated thing.

  • So, it's best to have the "insurance policy" AND to be TOLD how to live your life so you don't perish in the POOL OF FIRE FOR ALL ETERNITY for a "finite" crime(unbelief) if one can even call unbelief a crime. Some fair judgement that is. Adolf Hitler was a better judge than this Abrahanic version of a god. NO THANKS, I'd rather rot in hell and worship the devil, at least he's not judgmental. Good thing there's NO evidence for a heaven or hell, a satan or a divine jesus. RELIGION IS HARMFUL

  • Churches specialize in deceiving children into believing they are saved when they are not. Churches are evil because they are of men, run by men and built by men when Jesus said He will build His congregation. Man love to bring in the wicked and call them saints, which in turns kills the true elect.

  • this powerful

  • *sigh* I have no Idea why this showed up on my recommended videos >.> Stupid youtube.

  • Very nice.

  • Thank you Thank you for making this video. This is such an important message to the 'church'. God bless you and keep making them.Jesus is mighty to save!

  • Ephesians 2:8

  • Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9

  • Thanks for posting the truth that can help christians

  • There are very touching testimonies. Thanks for placing them on YouTube.

  • I was told by holy angels that I was at risk of losing my salvation, despite my faith. I have a close relationship with God, but I was full of rage towards Him and this was manifesting in angry outbursts directed at him. When I was chastised it shocked me. I cried out for help. Then God reached out his loving hand to me immediately. We should never take our salvation for granted, ever. Big mistake.

  • @voyagersystem Since getting married and the birth of my little girl, I seem to be getting further and further away from God - I have the hope of salvation but cant say I have a relationship with Jesus, I often think I am a luke warm Christian who God is going to spew out. This type of video as well as most from the I'llbehonest ministry make me question whether I will really be saved - Are they satans tools to make a good believer give up and slip away, or a wake up call?

  • @jesusfilledphil, sounds like you are being given the choice to use these videos either way. And Satan doesn't give us the choice, so it must be from the one who loves you. :0) Fight the adversary. He blacks my house out, I read The Bible with a torch! He breaks the torch, I light a candle. He puts out the candle, I sing hymns. Easier said than done. :) Have you heard Satan's Final War Plan Exposed by David Wilkerson?

  • @voyagersystem You are a wise man(or woman), and Im glad I have contact with you - I will check out these videos later, may God bless and guide you!

  • @jesusfilledphil, thanks for that. Just one other thing ... I find that if I star\t to loose touch or focus on Jesus, I simply inundate myself with Jesus through his own words in The New Testament, Dvds on or about him, books on Jesus and praying to reconnection. He's always right there waiting. :) Nice chatting. God bless.

  • @jesusfilledphil It is a wake up call and God's mercy to you. If you don't have a relationship w/ Jesus then you don't have the hope of salvation. But don't give up hope. Jesus is mighty to save! He promises us that those who seek Him will find Him when they seek Him w/ all of their heart....just cry out to Jesus to save you & He will & you will be sure. It's also so important to read the Word in order to know Jesus and how we are to live: in HIS strength/empowered by the Holy Spirit. God bless

  • @julinafaith This is the sort of comment I dont like! Who are you to say if I am saved or not - We are all in different walks with Christ and in different situations in life. I am doing my best under the circumstances, I pray mentally often during the day and read the Bible every day. I have a sound doctrine and avoid sin - I can do no more, I have no more strength, so perhaps I am doomed according to you? You have no evangelism on your channel and no uploads, just comments from your own view.

  • @jesusfilledphil I'm not accusing you of not being saved. I don't know if you are or are not. What I am saying is that if you haven't a relationship with Jesus then you can't be saved. Only you know if you do or don't. Your response to me is talking of following doctrine, avoiding sin & doing the best you can which is all works. I am not trying to discourage you but encourage you to look to Jesus. His strength is made perfect in weakness. It is He who saves us and changes us from inside.

  • @jesusfilledphil . I do not believe you are doomed because we are in a time of grace before judgment. All can be saved if we repent and believe.Salvation is not based on works but on belief in Jesus that can only come from relationship with Him. When He judges us He will say one of 2 things. Welcome good & faithful servant or depart from Me I never KNEW you. This speaks of relationship. Relationship w/ Jesus will result in good works but we can do nothing JOhn 15 w/o Him. He works from inside.

  • Respond to this video... one more thing..i keep running out of space. It is good that you have no strength b/c in our own strength we will fail every time. Phil. 1:6-He that began a good work in you will see it to completion.' He does it. Not us. I really am not against you I just wanted to share with you the truth b/c you posted for a reason..you sound a bit unsure..it is the truth that sets us free..sometimes people mean well but they end up encouraging us straight to our doom..God bless

  • @julinafaith OK I accept what you said, I appologise and perhaps I mis understood you or was overly sensitive to your comment. I am going through hard times at the moment and feel that God is far away although I am sure that I am doing Gods will and living in accordance to Gods wishes. During a time of personal tribulation, I feel my life is being bombarded by false messages which are trying to beat me down more and more to the point of giving up even on the faith that I know is true.

  • Amen! I'm glad I found this video. Only Lord knows the fear in my heart for the majority of the congregation who will sadly not enter into the Kingdom. TRUE Christianity goes FAR BEYOND religion and into an intimate relationship with God. I've come to understand that only a few years back, and if it took me that long, me being born and raised into the church, it scares me sometimes to how long it'll take everyone else stuck in their foolish ways. Lord have mercy.

  • Hallelujah! God is great!!!

  • DID JESUS EVER ASK FOR A ALTER CALL, DID JESUS EVER ASK ANYONE TO REPEAT THE SINNERS PRAYER.? WHAT A BUNCH OF PIG DUNG.!!! YOU DO NOT CHOOSE JESUS HE CHOOSES "YOU".! NO ONE CAN WORK THEIR WAY INTO HEAVEN, NO ONE CAN WORK THEIR WAY INTO "SALVATION"..! THE LORD CHANGES YOU, YOU CAN NOT CHANGE YOURSELF, THE OLD YOU IS DEAD, THE NEW YOU IS CHRIST HIMSELF, AS JESUS HIMSELF HATES ALL SIN SO WILL YOU BECAUSE NOW IN ALL TRUTH IT IS HIM, IT IS CHRIST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY, "THE GLORY", YEP, LOL!

  • DID JESUS EVER ASK FOR A ALTER CALL, DID JESUS EVER ASK ANYONE TO REPEAT THE SINNERS PRAYER.? WHAT A BUNCH OF PIG DUNG.!!! YOU DO NOT CHOOSE JESUS HE CHOOSES "YOU".!

  • Just look at these people. I guarantee that in a few years they will be saying that at this time they had it wrong and weren't really saved. On and on it goes. Religion - the ultimate madness. If you aren't perfect then your aren't really saved - yet no one ever becomes perfect. What a brilliant way to shut down humanity.

  • awesome

  • @Speedskate2014 why do northern folks act rude?

  • i understand the s.baptist views as im free will baptist and i repent 4x a day. But being saved at 12 yrs old doesnt mean you werent saved. I had attended church for years but we had a new preacher during a revival and no matter the pressure put on me i wouldnt do a false conv. This new preacher somehow hit the Good News with a different way and the Holy Spirit tugged at me gently then stronger. then i went up and was saved. I backslid in my late 20s due ot pain meds but Im saved! i repent

  • There's a beautiful truth in this video. God bless you!

  • i think we are all children of the light.what we have to learn is let go of the fear.what i see here, and what i see over and over again in christian faith is fear fear fear.wow is that how u guys wanna live your life?well i dont.more and more i see that i am ok the way i am.there is a reason why i am the way i am.stop trying to be somebody else and go to look and find out who YOU really are.

  • @witchcerridwen hey how are you. The Bible tells us The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Yet it also tells us there is no fear in perfect love, for fear has to do with punishment-so he who fears has not yet been made perfect in love. And we are told by Jesus himself "If you love me, obey my commandments" Santification and being made perfect in love is a LIFELONG process and happens progressively, not instantly.

  • @witchcerridwen I guess one thing we can agree on is that it's important to find out WHO you are.self (and self-awareness) (and your talents) are a gift from God. But part of life is recognizing NO ONE is perfect and EVERYONE has shortcomings and faults-and room to grow and improve.

  • @witchcerridwen There is only one to fear, God of the scriptures, no one or nothing else. The moment Jesus saved me, I lost all fear of death. And I've been very close six times at unconsious state. When you are in Christ, that's when your life starts and you begin to see things as they are supposed and meant to be seen, nature, other people, creation, yourself, everything. God is not against us, and He demonstrated that in Jesus. We choose otherwise in our rebellion, because we hate submission.

  • @witchcerridwen Not everyone is a child of God. John 1:12 says "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." The name of Jesus, He is the One and only One that can save you. John 14:6 says" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. We all have a Choice to make, will we believe unto Him and choose Jesus or a god that fits our liking. Check the evidence of Christ.

  • @witchcerridwen if and when you find out who you really are, it will terrify and disgust you. that man continues to walk in darkness who knows not himself, and his need for forgiveness and mercy. but it is that man, who has been blessed by the Spirit of God to visit that soul with the light of truth in showing them who they really are, and in so doing, causing them to cry out to God for mercy; and even finding mercy to say, 'Abba, Father', in finding hope and deliverance through Jesus Christ.

  • Thank you, just ... thank you. JESUS bless each and every one of us. Amen.

  • Awesome!!! Love it

  • I was also a false convert for 15 years or so,Christ saved me away from any church,in a life of sin and no close christian relationships.I started hearing the gospel for what it really was and finally understood it in my heart and have been changed ever since,I'm now a new creation in Christ,I finally know what it means to be saved and to have a relationship with my Father ,His Son and His Holy Spirit.Beware the sinners prayer, test yourself to see if you're truly in the faith.

  • I grew up in a Christian family, went to church with them reguraly, knew all the Bible stories by heart, said the sinners prayer at the age of 7, and thought I was a Christian. However, most people would never guess I was a Christian because of the way I acted. I believed in Christ, but He was not part of my heart. At the age of 26, that changed. Now I cling to Christ daily because I know I am lost without Him.

  • This is sweet. This video nails it

  • Thank you for posting this. I thought I was saved at 14. I wasn't. It has taken me over 15 YEARS to finally know without a doubt at all that I am saved by the blood of Jesus. On July 22, 2010, I finally heard Jesus knocking on my heart's door, and I didn't ignore Him, I let my Savior in. I'm transformed. I became "aware" for the first time of my sins. Forgiveness from God has put joy in my heart. I'm 30, and it terrifies me to think of how lost I really was, now I'm found! Thank God!

  • @risadanielle same here bro, same here

  • @kelsoguy58 I've read ariela333's last 2 posts. As a psychologist, I have to tell you she sounds sand. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I have to tell you she sounds like a real Christian. To what does your post saying she needs a psychologist or to be delivered from something refer? You make me suspect that if you claim to be a Christian, you just might be a false convert on his way to Hell.

  • Excellent testimonies!

  • These testimonies are MINE! WOW! I gave my life to Christ at 7 years old...and spent the next 31 years thinking I was a Christian while living a very sinful life. Well not at 7 but as I grew up I acknowledged the Lord, went to church every Sunday, even had Bible study w/my family but I had a strong desire for the world as I grew it got worse. Until 2 years ago...hallelujah...God showed me my heart! I was a sinner through and through. But, he changed me! I've been living for him ever since

  • God Bless you! I'm 17, got saved this summer at a open-air preaching .. the 2nd day i woke with praises unto Him, in my mouth, ever since then I walk with Him and I feel an indescribable joy. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

  • AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to church all my life, but I didn't really know what that meant and I had no new relationship with God (LOVE) and sin (HATE). Hallelujah I and regenerated now!

  • may i ask where you attend church? What leads you to post these videos?

  • @ozzjazz7681 Sorry for the late, late response. We honestly had not been checking the comments here. Go to our channel page to see why we do this.

  • How do you know you are truly saved? Paul in Philippians 2:12b says: work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. How does one work out one's own salvation? Many fail to finish reading Paul's exhortation and thus miss the answer: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (v13). Paul, being well educated in the Scriptures was basically reiterating what Isaiah had already said:

  • @HermitintheRain LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. Isaiah 26:12

Is God working his peace in you? Romans 5:1 states: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

You aren't justified by your faith-that is your self-made faith. But by the faith that is Jesus' faith.

  • @HermitintheRain for as revealed in 2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. To have the righteousness of God bestowed/imputed to us it to have all that is Christ's made ours too. His righteousness, his holiness, his faith. It becomes ours in the sense that our breath is ours-though it be given to us by God.

  • @HermitintheRain thus James is made to show the difference between saving Holy Spirit breathed faith and dead man-made faith. Is Christ truly your all in all? This is the question that needs to be examined regularly when heeding the exhortation that says: work our your salvation with fear and trembling. Where is your trust when finding assurance of salvation? is it in how well you prayed or pray? or in how often and how much you read your bible? how often you keep his commandments?

  • @HermitintheRain is your hope and assurance of salvation in anything that you do or don't do? or is your hope solely and wholy in the person and work of Jesus Christ himself? I do hope you pray often and regularly. I do hope you spend time diligently searching through the Scriptures. I do hope you are diligent to add to your faith the things that Peter advised us in 2 Peter 1. I do hope you are about your life giving glory and honor to Jesus' name.

  • @HermitintheRain but my brother and sister in Christ, never become distracted in all your efforts to serve the Lord to remember where the hope of your calling and the assurance of your election rests. not in you, but in Christ himself. if your hope is in Christ, let your heart not be discouraged in well doing. when you fall, and you will, he will pick you up. for he is faithful, he shall not fail to save one of his own. Enter into the rest of the Lord by trusting in him to save to the uttermost.

  • This Video sure has me Checking my Heart right now. I thank all of you for sharing. Now once I check my heart, I need to learn what to do next. Thanks to Meg for bring this to light too. Bless all of you

    Ralph, Child of God.

  • I can't help but wonder if Hitler had said the sinners prayer when he was a child; would he have been right with God at his death? All because he said a scripted prayer. I doubt it. Just saying a scripted prayer doesn't do a thing, if you're heart isn't changed. God bless

  • @EmergingGrub NO! Everyone that is forgiven in CHRIST NAME, has to pay for their sins on this side.....Hitler would have had to suffer for thousands of years to just wash the blood on his left hand but still had blood on his right hand and head and back and belly and most of all face.....YOU REPENT! Psalms 32:5-6

  • @ariela333 If Jesus paid for any of your sins, he paid for all of them. If Jesus was scourged for your transgressions, he was scourged for all of them. If by his stripes you are healed, than not one sin is required at your hand that has been taken on the back, in the hands and in the feet of Jesus Christ. If you repent, it is because the grace that is in Christ has been given to you. Faith that produces a life of repentance is the proof of the Holy Spirit regenerating you by the blood of Jesus.

  • There's a video just to the right in the list "Candace Cameron, Testimony, (DJ from Full House) on true and false converts" she says it beautifully. God bless her for preaching the gospel. Check it out

  • In my experiances in a fundamentalist baptist church as ws a part of the bus ministryAwanas, and junior church(seperate from Sunday School) was told we needed to always preach the gospel. After awhile, I shared my concerns with a couple I was working with that the same kids were always getting saved. we decided to go into a different direction teaching and preaching how the gospel works into the believer from salvation until Christ calls us home.

  • The pastors kids were in our service and eventually was confronted by the pastor why I was no longer preachng the gospel. When I shared my problem, I was told I had to preach the gospel every Sunday and nothing else. I asked him what do you think I am preaching? He told me ot the gospel and I disagreed. Of course-long before this a Calvinist(and he knew this) I told him if we counted every time one was saved-we should have the largest Baptist church(I am not about numbers but he was)

  • For me, part of this was to get the kids to understand eternal life does not begin when we die and go to heaven-but started at the moment of conversion and faith in Christ. On this, I was saved when 12 by praying a sinners prayer. I say this for a reason-there was never a doubt I was saved as almost right away having a deep thirst to know, study, and read the word of God which in a way has never been satisfied as now at 37, I have spent more money on bibles and books about the bible

  • When people ask how I knew I was saved-lost people do not have this desire for the word of God. I say this for a reason-yes, there are quite a few false converts because of the sinners prayer-there is also quite a few of us not knowing one thing from the other as far as what was the correct way to lead someone to Christ. The point being-do not throw out the baby with the bath water and those of us saved this way-just terribly afraid at times this becomes so codified

  • What I am trying to express is sometimes when a teaching like this is critiqued-it becomes so codeified as erroneous-anyone saved this way might be seen as a false believer when for quite a few this is not the case. Balance and Attitude is one of the first things learned when new to the faith and is still very relevent today. Just a word of caustion as sometimes those younger in faith discover this-it sometimes(because of immaturity) becomes a hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

  • @daveme7 Not about numbers, it's about the Good News. God will take care of who will be drawn by His Spirit. We just have to be a workman approved and ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within.

  • @daveme7 Has been said, if we had to be saved continuously, Christ would have to be crucified again and again. Same as the Hebrew sacrifices.

  • @Brucev7 I disagree. In Romans 8 we see there is a part of us not saved but a future redemption. Does this mean Christ will have to die again to save that which he has notnyet saved in all of us? Will quote this one verse and then will do the rest in another comment 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

  • @daveme7 When we die, our soul/spirit goes to Heaven awaiting the bodily resurrection, into a spirit body united with our soul. .

  • @Brucev7 A few other ideas come into play as Christ died to save more than one based on one sacrifice. On the other hand, in John 3:16, believe is in present active participle. This means a continued action that never ends. I do believe in salvaytion by grace through faith and soometimes some could make this something else as the charachter is it will continue. What I mean by this is some will try to make this present tense reliant on us thus some form of salvation losing and do not believe that

  • @daveme7 There is debate in the church about eternal security or not. I believe if one is truly saved, that is it. Sealed by the HS. Other wise it's like Jesus atonement was in vain.

  • In Romans 1:17, this says the just will live by faith. Is this a different kind of faith as opposed to saving faith? Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Inthe 1st 2 verses of 1John, Christ is that eternal life that begins at salvation. I can see where someone could bring your point up as I se it-it all starts at salvation. This is how I break it down, past saved from the penalty of sin, present saved from the power of sin, future saved from the presence of sin. Hope this helps you see

  • @daveme7 Faith has to have an object. To the Christian, this is in Christ. By Grace alone, through faith alone, through Christ alone.

  • @Brucev7 No disagreements here. Mainly, for me the point becomes there are some aspects of salvation that happens right away(the Indwelling Spirit of God) things continuously happening in is now and a future redemption. This being the ideal we are continuously saved as the nature of salvation. Romans 6 speaks a bit of this as well as Paul in Galatians 2:20. You were absolutely correct in stating about Christ only died once-but sometimes not all thinks salvation will continue

  • @daveme7 Sure. Scripture can be found to support Eternal security and loosing or going back and forth. I think many think once they're saved, if they truly are, that they do not have to work to be more Christlike.

  • @Brucev7 Even though this is one of the greatest truths out of many that made a very deep impact on me(me believng eternal security), most times I really do think people who advocating both teachings ever intend to only honor God. Eternal security as to honor Christ in that salvation can never be earned i.e. I cannot lose something I id not earn and are incapable of earning. On the other side, honoring the fact that we are saved from sin which extends to everything in our life.

  • @daveme7 'salvation can never be earned i.e. I cannot lose something I id not earn and are incapable of earning.' Good observation and insight.

  • @Brucev7 In these ideas of eternal security, I thoink I only ever met one person wh believed eternal security departed the faith. Whether online or in real life, I only ever met one who believe you can lose salvation-again only knew one I did not believe was really saved. In both instances having the same source(being lost), both departed the faith with no desire to fellowship with the saints: 1 John 2:19 a gpood passage fopr both people.

  • @daveme7 You should read about Arminianism. Some say this says you can loose or loose and gain back.

  • @Brucev7 I misspoke a bit on this one. It should be that salvation continuously works in the life of the believer. Sorry about that.

  • @daveme7 I use sanctification in a life long walk, a daily sanctification by the HS transforming like Christ. Paul said 'work through our salvation.' A process, leaving sin behind, a desire.

  • @Brucev7 Basically I do too but tend to get mixed up since I mix sanctification with salvation as some will say it though I disagree as I do agree with your sentiments on sin as a salvation working through and in us.

  • Thank you

  • There are many false converts in churches today who need to get saved. The problem is not many preachers today even give a clear exaplaination of what SALVATION actually means, and what it should look like in a believer. I.E, back to basics.

  • @tehAMACAMAC

Wow, you sound like me 4 years ago...I am going to tell you the truth because I believe no one has. The devil is real and he wants your soul.....DON'T LET HIM HAVE IT...CALL OUT TO JESUS WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART....I love you tehAMACAMAC.

  • Beautiful. Tears. This was me!

  • Wow, that could have been me in this video, It's like watching your life flash before you. I thank God he granted me repentance not to be repented of! 2 Corinthians 7:10. You know your changed when you cry about your sin, have you ever cried to God about your sin? Repent and trust in Jesus

  • @EmergingGrub Never have and the purpose of this response is some will cry and others will not. I tend to think quite often it depends on a lot besides how one grew up and the emotional make up. For me, never shed a tear for my sins. Does not mean I do not care or am not passionate to overcome sin. In this, one's experiance is not always the same for everyone.

  • @daveme7 So maybe your an exception. I will say this, that there are a lot of people who think they are going to Heaven because at some time in their life they said a little prayer, but no true repentance. If that were true, who do you think Jesus is talking about in Mathew 7:21-23? I don't think the sinners prayer is biblical, Jesus never said " Say this little prayer and be saved". No, it's not about a prayer but a changed heart. Mathew 7:20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits."

  • @EmergingGrub I really do not belie ve in exceptions as because I do not think God does. This is not intended to make me look better-scripturally we all rebelled against God, hated God, despised God, cursed God, stopped believing he existed and all this with a very capable free will that allows us to choose Christ-and we reject him(Rom 3, Psalm 14 and 53) To say one is an exception to the rule presupposes knowing the eternal state of everyone who said the sinners prayer

  • @EmergingGrub Christ was talking about false prophets in that passage

  • @daveme7 He was also talking about false converts in Mathew 13:3-9. The sinners prayer has never saved anyone. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. I suppose everyone has a different experience, agreed. Maybe those who have been forgiven much are more emotional than others. What I meant by exception, was that most people upon being saved are so grateful for salvation they might have tears of joy, not that I knew about anyones eternal state. Thank God for His grace and mercy

  • @daveme7 Now, when I realized it was my sin that put Jesus on that cross, so I could be saved, and really understood the great love He has for me (us), thats when my heart broke. It's the kindest thing that has ever been done for anyone. Thats when I truly repented and put my faith in God. You see, it's about faith. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone. When you pray to God, pray from your heart Mathew 13:3-9 is a good illustration true and false conversion. God bless

  • @EmergingGrub For me, I guess the biggest thing comes to this-there are a lot being transformed by the word of God and were saved by saying the sinners prayer. For me, I guess the big thing is, can a lost man discern the truth from the scriptures in what must be done to be saved? I think as myself a Calvinist-when God gives light, we ight not fully comprehend but we do know the Lord saves and sanctifies through his grace. The point being, do not write others off because many err.

  • @EmergingGrub Going to this thought,l how does one know the sinners prayer is unbiblical when they are lost? For myself, just do not want to see a form of judgmentalism over those who disagree. I was told one time I was not really saved since I could not affirm the person leading me to the Lord used a KJV(ruckmanism). I laughed and when he chided, I told him he needs to witness to the man in the mirror instead of worrying about me. I just see where this could be similar. God bless-Dave Emme

  • @daveme7 Please show me where the sinners prayer is at in the Bible. Did Jesus use the sinners prayer, did Paul, did Peter.........? No, they all said repent and trust in Jesus for salvation.

John 3:3 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." I thank the Lord for opening our eyes to the truth.

    God bless

  • @EmergingGrub I some what think most would point to Romans 10 as for me showing the Pharisee confession of how good he was for tithes and whatever he also trusted in where the Publican cried out, "Be merciful to me a sinner" in Luke 18. When Christ asked who went away justified. if you want to get into technichal explanations-thyere is nothing in the bible about a sinners prayer, but in Romans 10 speaking of believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth

  • @EmergingGrub This ideal of confession with the mouth presupposes an utterance or speaking. Is it necessarily a prayer to ask Christ to save you based on what Christ did on the cross, I somewhat think many took from the publican's utterance. Now, I think many tought this would be a good way to confess Christ as Lord and Saviour not supposing perhaps asking God to save you isnot prohibited in the scriptures.

  • @EmergingGrub There are several problems that come in which somewhat codified a "sinner's prayer" as long as you bpray this prayer, you will be a Christian and those who do are automatically saved. The problem comes in, we cannot see the heart but can see the results of a confessed faith. James 2 is clear on this. Faith also shows this in Heb 11 in the defination of faith. The ideal that a prayer or confession no matter how you cut it, anyone can lie or say a prayer

  • @EmergingGrub Ultimately the problem becomes when assurance is given because of a prayer or an utterance of faith as if saying these words are like hocus pocus no matter what you have done since-this confession secures your salvation. Whether one calls it a confession or a sinners prayer, the scriptures are clear, confession without a change in life is a false confession and is not saved-this is the problem in our churches to judge one saved based on what one said and not what one lives.

  • @EmergingGrub Thanks and you have been a blessing to me where many times there is a thought or reaction and sometimes not so good as concisely expressing a thought which so many times could be turned or interpreted so many different ways which I think quite often it is a failure on my part to concisely define when we have a hard time in our private thoughts in understanding what we think ourselves. Thank you for challenging my thinking and God bless-Dave Emme

  • I was a "good church girl" for 30 years. Then Jesus the Great Physician removed my stony heart and replaced it with a heart of flesh. Glory Hallelujah! I have not been the same person since. I am my beloved's and He is mine.

  • @sldeyo If you were healed, it was CHRIST the great physician, that healed you....It was Christ the Holy Ghost that was in Jesus who healed the people.....Give honour to God who is the Saviour of those and these. Time is running out..... make sure your anchour holds. The harvest is finished, the summer is ended and the people are not saved.

  • Now that's what i'm talkin about; we make a "decision for Christ" every day!

  • This is Now You See TV. We specialize in Christian testimonials of Jesus Christ. We love this video its something we need more of on youtube. We get attacked by atheists all the time and Im sick of hearing how alot of them 'use to be' Christians and are now are atheists. I use to be an atheist until I sincerely asked God if He was real and he revealed Himself to me. I've been different every since. We would love for you to checkout our videos and help brothers out in fighting the good fight

  • @NowYouSeeTV I also tell them that a true born again Christian can't deny Gods existence honestly. You know what i mean I can get mad at someone enough to not want to ever see them again but to deny their existence is impossible for i have met them

  • Wonderful, inspiring and encouraging, thank you all for sharing your lives and your hearts, God bless you, what a testimony!

  • Every time I have a discussion with false christians the pain of these people rings in my mind. Not only because Ive what I have seen here, but because of what I know I was as well. Their tears are my tears! Thank God that His sheep are answering His call. May so many more know the truth. May the Lord God Jesus Christ find you in His Truth!

  • This is a reality today. I have experience this as well. I am still lamenting after five years of coming to the truth as God shares more with me. I am living with the consequences of this 'easy believism.' Praise God for His mercy to reach to us like those in the video. He knows we are honestly seeking Him and eventually He draws us to Him. Thank you for sharing.

  • I just wonder if someone behind the pulpit would just explain true and false conversion...

  • @PreacherinExile Here is the problem-not saying it should never be done, but sometimes especially the young in faith could mischaracterize their conversion especially when young in Christ and dealing with sin issues-i.e. Christ now sanctifying new believers already saved. It also many times depends on the church and the preacher. If a pastor is doing his job(just too many not) then people will understand the true from the false.

  • It's the same story in the UK i'm afraid. All too common.

  • @chrisyvee Time is running out for what, exactly?

  • I have a similar testimony. Thought I was "saved" because I made a decision and said a prayer at age12. Read First John and found out I wasnt in Christ. I am now. Dont go by what some preacher tells you. Read First John and ask God to speak to you.

  • @greatdanechick2 WOW! Same here GDC! For 31 years I thought I was a Christian...and then the book of 1 John changed my life! I learned that I was a liar and there was no truth in me...that I was walking in darkness. I was confronted with my sin...and repented and cried out to GOD! He changed me and gave me a new heart. That was TWO YEARS and TWO MONTHS ago and I haven't been the same since!

  • @greatdanechick2 Almost EVERYONE I KNOW SAYS they are Christians...but less than 1% truly live for the Lord! Just like the person I was they live for themselves, cuss, drink, party, practice sexual sin, etc. God has given me a burden for people knowing the truth! I encourage everyone who professes to be a Christian to examine themselves to see if they are in the faith! 2 Corinthians 13:5-6, and I tell everyone who professes to be a Christian to read the book of 1 John!

  • i can definitely relate to them i felt myself change and hate the things i did that were offensive to God but recently i've been backsliding and its really bothering me, i kno God is telling me to watch who i hang with bcuz they cause me to sin. so ppl!!!! if u feel urself change keep away from those who cause u to slip away

  • @beatryda5 Amen. Just as God hates sin, we should feel the same way and act to turn away from sin. John 15:7-9

7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my lov

  • Beautiful just beautiful.....

  • People, People, "churches" are social clubs filled with converts of men and not of God and you've learned it the hard way. I HOPE you did not go back into these harlot organizations as a true convert? A true convert will die spirtually if you surround yourself with false brethren!

  • Oh how i pray that love maybe restored in us for our savior. how so little of us actually repent and not return to those things we once told Him "Oh how you touched my life and i wont go back to the things that you hate".

Yet its not long maybe a day or two maybe a week then were back doing it again.Lord we are depraved men help us to do what you call us to do and not turn away from praying and reading and listening to your voice

  • This video is Right ON. John 1:12 - "But as many as received him (Jesus) to them gave he power

TO BECOME the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." The phrase 'TO BECOME' denotes and never ending process, the beginning, not the end. The phrase BORN AGAIN is very misleading. People aren't taught that before one can be BORN AGAIN, they must first DIE. The deceived multitudes don't want to die or give up their old life, because they love darkness. Excellent video, God bless

  • @ariela333 I am sure many spoke. I think you misunderstand a bit on the great exchange. You are right-Christ was cursed and he was judged as a sinner-even when he was not. The point being we who are wicked are judged with the righteousness of Christ. Seems you use the scriptures that fit your views while ignoring the rest.

  • @daveme7 I SAID JESUS IS CURSED! Galatians 3:13 CHRIST IS BLESSED! Colossian 3:3-4 God has not told you the difference between Jesus and Christ cause you have not met his condition....If you don't believe the Gospel, you are not going to Heaven! You can see Heaven, but you can't go!!!!

  • @daveme7 CORRECTION FOR YOU daveme7!!! Jesus is cursed!!!! CHRIST IS BLESSED!!!!! You are still wicked and have not been washed from your sins because you don't know nothing.....how can you know unless someone tells you and how can you believe if you don't have faith and how can you have faith if you can't hear. REPENT FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN!

  • Faith without acts is dead.Get into a personal relation with Jesus and avoid sin pray as much as possible get to hear HIs voice,JEsus dies for our sins so we can be free from sin and follow Him.Please repent and Obey HIs Will.

  • Jesus is not dead for He came as G-d in the flesh and He will return as G-d in the flesh. You speak blasphemy and the punishment for that is death. Repent while there is a little time longer. If you knew Jesus you would know that He is in us in Spirit.

    Reborn

  • @ariela333 Sorry, but you make absolutely no sense. Jesus and Christ are one and the same being, Christ is the Greek word for Messiah, and Jesus is an anglicized version of the Hebrew word Y'shuah which means God saves. Jesus died on the cross, was placed in a tomb, and 3 days later was raised from the dead. Jesus was not burned on any altar, sorry, but you are incorrect.

  • Wow, you need help. Stan has you in His grip, and is sifting you like wheat. You are so confused... what devil or witch have you been listening to that would make something as wonderful and sweet as the sacrifice of Jesus sound so dirty? I will pray for you.

  • @ariela333 It isn't the word that is the point, it is what one puts into it. YHVH.

  • great testimonies, made my eyes water.. Praise and Love Almighty Father in Heaven/Jesus Christ Forever!

  • Thank you for these testimonies, when you read the word of God with a repentant heart, Jesus will change you to be all that you could never be on your own. This is how we fulfill Gods Commandments, when Jesus fills your heart you want to please him through love for God and love for your fellow man and abide in harmony with the law of God.

Discover his Sabbath day and the many blessings it will bring!

    God bless you all!!

  • thanks for sending the video

  • thanks for sending this to me

  • Every church in America needs to watch this video...

    AMEN!

  • Praise The Lord for His saving Grace!! Blessed are they that seek after righteousness for they will have it indeed!!!

  • What a fantastic moving video .. Unfortunately many have taken to the False Gospel and profess to be Christians. Many have said that little prayer asking Jesus into their heary and never thought abut it again.. like it was a vaccine shot, they had taken care of that salvation issue .. I was certainly one of those people. I never came to that realization until a few years back. Sanctification and changes in my mind has since been a constant process. Praise Jesus ... Maranatha!!

  • Amen thanks for sharing this video. very inspiring wake up call thanks.

  • @the3rd911 There is an age of reasoning. just like the sacrifice Yahuwshua made Before the age of 20 fathers are to bring the sacrifice for the children. At the age of 20 is the age of accountability. The human mind is not developed enough to make that kind of decision. You have to know the Name of Yahuwah to receive the anointing of the Set Apart Spirit. One Faith, One Baptism (not of water, of Spirit)

  • fullest. May God's most perfect and Holy Love flow through all of you as rivers of living water. Amen.

  • That was truly touching, I have just become a new man, The LORD is having His way in me showing me all the things that I no longer desire and causing praise to enter my mouth at all times of the day for He alone is Holy and He has chosen to live in me. Grace be to you realtruthmatters and may God continue to perfect you in His conviction of Perfect Love. May praises spring forth from your heart in melody to our LORD and Saviour. And May the wisdom that is in Christ Jesus Fill you all to the

  • The business of the false church is to fill the pews with unbelievers for the edification of the clergy. If you have been called by the Spirit DON'T GO TO CHURCH but follow Christ.

  • Golory and praise to God in the highest. Lord Jesus you are amazing.

  • I hope God moves more people to see this.
