my dorm suite

hey i wanted to join a dorm next year so if you dont mind answering some questions....

wheres your closet? lol

and what about the bathrooms and all...is it like those high school kinds...like where everyone shares? or is it like guys in theres and girls in theres??

will this dorm is a suite called cuarto and its more expensive than the regular dorms.. there two other dorms called tecero and segundo. Tecero is by the cows so you're gonna be smelling cows everytime you step outside of the building.. tecero have two pretty new dorm buildings.. and for segundo its kinda old but its very close to the ARC gym and school classes.

For the suites in cuarto you only share bathrooms with the people who lives in the same room (not the whole floor).. there's about 2 bathrooms for each room of about 4-8 people but its way better than sharing a bathroom with more than 20 ppl. the bathrooms in the segundo and tecero are like the high school gym lockers (including bathroom stalls, sinks, and showers).. yea and there are bathrooms only for guys and bathrooms only for girls in the segundo and tecero dorms.

as for my closet its actually out in the hall way..for the suites in cuarto its just like an apartment but with no kitchen and dining area.. jus bedrooms, closets, bathrooms and a living room. my closet was kool cuz it was a walk in closet with a mirror and sink and shelves where we can put stuff there.

the Thoreau building in Cuarto is i would say had the best and roomiest rooms, the bedroom in thoreau is even bigger than the rooms in some of the dorm rooms in Segundo and Tecero

its one of the cuarto suites call "thoreau".. i would say thoreau had the best rooms.. it has two toilet rooms(1 and each end of hall which consist of only 4 room total)... so two room share a toilet room, seperate shower room, the master rooms(2 master rooms) gets a sink and a closet in their room and the other rooms get their own seperate closet/sink room which was pretty big.. the closet was like a small little walk in closet..

i dont think they have a nursing program on davis yet.. i heard that they're planning to have the nursing program either next year or in 2011, im not quite sure..

is it hard to get in UC Davis. My choices for UC's are: UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCSF, or SF city college

no its not that hard to get into UC Davis.. i had a few friends who never took honors or ap classes in their high school years and still got into to Davis..

nope... well they were in an asian club.. but i dont think they did any community service either unless they lied on the application that they did. It also depends on what major ur goin into.. some major is actually harder to get into than others.. i dont know which ones though..

Competition this year is pretty tough. I got into Davis because I'm in the ELC program which picks the top 4% out of your graduating class. I also applied to Berkeley and am waiting for their email. Berkeley is going to be super tough this year but I hope they realize I really want to go to their school because I only applied to Davis and Berkeley. however, UCSF is a graduate school that specializes in medicine, no undergrad freshman can be admitted to it.
