Madjohne is on the money. On the Bo Jackson highlight I expected a more devastating physical dominance by Bo over Boz. I was unimpressed. It did not live up to the hype. If you see a lot of Bo Jackson runs you will notice The Boz did better than most in wrapping up the two sport freak. All I know is the amount of steroids the both of these dudes were doin cancelled each other out and Bo wins barely in that infamous clip.
I really find it "unfair" that he was labelled one of the biggest "busts" of all time. How can a player get this label when they got hurt during their playing career? Yes I can see Ryan Leaf and Jamarccus being labelled busts but players that played, got legitimately injured while playing should not receive this label. Can we say Bo Jackson was a bust? Did his career end too soon and prematurely? Boz gave Seattle three decent seasons before his body gave out on him due to injury.Steve Emtman too!
Bosworth had size, speed, strength, & smarts. He showed excellent feet & a great burst. He could canvas the field, take good angles, was hard to cut off on outside plays & could cover. He could stuff the one-on-one block & was a punishing tackler. But he tended to overrate his strength & tried to overrun everyone. Blockers were considerably bigger in the NFL than they were at Kansas State. Is that what happened to his left shoulder? I do know he should have been an outside LB, not inside.

He was a steroid filled joke! Overrated hick who got exposed on the next level. Steroids and stuffing towels in his jersey to appear bigger in pictures. His words not mine. Boz was, and always will be a joke!
an underated player, the media loves to undermine his skill because of his persona. the bo jackson thing is bull, everyone misses tackles in the nfl. the film on bosworth speaks for its self.
i agree with you, but i think he was more concerned about spotlight than play football. He could be a great player if he wanted to. agree also about Bo Jackson thing, Bo Jackson ran a 4.2 40 and was almost 230 pounds i'd like to know anybody can stop him.
- A good NFL LB, but 25 surgeries will end anyone's career.
- A consistent All-Pro player if he had stayed healthy.
- But he was his own worst enemy. Too much trash-talking + steriods.
- The Bo Jackson highlight: What a joke! That was a 1 yard run. True it was a TD, but no one coming off a block can stop a 235lb TB who runs a 4.2 40 and is at full speed for NO GAIN! People who think this is a highlight have never played football.
@turboreattore He didnt "prefer" to do movies instead of playing football, you idiot. Injuries ended his career. He had no choice in the matter. God damn. Why do idiots, like you, bother commenting on anything? Do you enjoy showing your stupidity?
@GoBackToSchoolLosers Listen stupid asshole, there are guys in the NFL that had worst injuries and they came back after multiple surgeries. The truth was Bosworth preferred remain healty for his life ans speculate with his fame. Asshole!
@waterboy51 Everyone knew Reggie Bush would be a bust because they were questioning how many carries can he take per game and scouts said 15 per game is not enough for a full time RB. Texans were smart to draft Mario Williams next closest thing to Bruce Smith when it comes to a pure DE
The best thing about YOU TUBE is the ability to tell a story that needs to be told. I think you have done an excellent job here. Thanks for putting this on the net.
How did you get a hold of all of this footage of the NFL games?
Hi, got all the videos of his games on vhs, transferred them over to dvd and my wife 'produced' it on the Roxio, she's getting better.lol Got more to put up tho, probably 6 or more. thanks for your comment. O, did you notice that Boz posted comments on the other videos? check it out.
who ever put this together got it right...thanx for reminding me that I was not just a player...i gave 'the game' everything god gave me and it showed...thanx for remembering
His number with the Sooners was 44, and so named his company 44 Boz Inc. When he went to NFL, he did use the number 44 for 3 Preseason games, however once the regular season started the NFL would not let him use his number because those numbers were for defensive backs/safety, and numbers from 50-70 were for linebackers. He then filed a lawsuit and was only allowed to wear 44 for one game and then had to use 55.
What ashame that Boz was struck down by injuries, he really was a potential Hall Of Famer. GREAT VIDEO!! Brought back lots of memories of when I was a big fan of his.
Bosworth & Bo Jackson could have had a GREAT rivalry if they'd both stayed healthy. Everybody calls Bosworth a bust but he really wasn't a bad player at all.

his hands and feet were smallish for a linebacker. Hard to believe that he was a dominant force.

Boz is the best college LBer I ever watched play. All of his colorful antics that brought him fame overshadowed his awesome ability.
