Trance has definitely evolved past songs like this

There have been amazing songs that came out earlier last decade,

but the best trance has been coming out in the past two to three years or so.

Compilation albums like Anjunabeats, Cream Trance, and A State of Trance have steadily been putting out the hottest trance tracks for the past few years.

All of which make songs like this sound flat and dated

Rank 1 has much more skill than this song shows, L.E.D There Be Light being a prime example.

Nowaday trance is always imitating other styles to fit into the mainstream at the present trance is more resembling the minimal side, durin 2007-2008 it was resembling electro with many producers using cheap synths sounds on their tracks.... In those days trance resembled nothing mate, TRANCE WAS JUST PURE TRANCE!!!!!
