The Three Kingdoms movies such as The Lost Blademan and Resurrection of the dragon are the worst movies ever. Red Cliff was cool, but the concluding of the battle was totally off! I'd rather watch Three Kingdoms 2010 TV series than watch those two movies I just talked about!

regardless of how he died. This was a great movie. I've never seen any epic history film as close as this one had. Red cliff 1 & 2 version of Zilong was terrible. Andy Lau's role as Zilong was way better.

@MeganMoriyama he didn't did of old age, his army was wiped out. He charged into the army's forces, taking as many people as he could. Obviously there forces were too large. He died in battle!

I agree. I first watched it three days ago after having it sit on my shelf for over two months, (( Brought in sale )). I was so intrieged by it.

I must say... the story needs a little work. But the fighting and the coreography is incredible. Seen it four times now. ^^

Yes he dies, but you can't see him. The taking off of his armor is the symbol of his fall. But i think D. Lee didnt show his death in order to keep the idea of Invincible General.

it was similar, Changban happened, five tigers, all that shit. Pingan I think is fictional, so is Cao Ying, and I think the whole Pheonix heights bit is too.

storyline differed very differently from history/novel though...I think Cao Ying was supposed to be Sima Yi and Cao Pi combined, producers didn't want to complicate the storyline...Ping An is definately fictional.
