Renne who played Gabrielle was pregnant at the end of s6 the final Season, it was tolled that S6 is the final one; b efore the big final. And they had a lot of reasons to realy end it. That's how Xena ended

After Ep 22 Motherhood, Final of S5, Xena, Gabby & Eve, went to clear things in their native villages: during Season 6 Eps 1,2,3 & 4.After that Eve realy became the Messenger of Eli.Eli the one who during a few eps from S4 & S5 was considered like Jesus on Earth. somehow Xena gained the power to kill the Gods, and she used that power. In the ep 10 from S6 "the god you know" Eve the Messenger went to confront Caligula, and Xena, had to do it her way.In the end Caligula killed himself.

During season 5 storyline: with Xena's daughter Eve, the bringer of the Greek Gods Death, Xena was put asleep in the 5th season Ep 19 :"Looking death in the eye" she wook up in S 5 Ep 20 "Livia" after 25 years of sleep.after she won Eve(that's her real name) Livia was the name given by Octavius (watch S5 Eps Livia & Eve) if the ignorants are intersted.
