@xNorseWindx , We used sharp ammo. I haven't yet figured out what made the guns jam, or like mine; semi jam. First I believed the gass sytem froze, but the hot gasses should have taken care of that problem. One theory is that the bolt was frozen, as there is almost no heat-transfer between it and the rounds, allowing it to stay frozen. But since it always fell back into place, without bringing a round with it, it might just have been the as simple as frozen mag. :)

Yes. In July 2007, the US army did a "dust test" simulating dusty/sandy conditions. The weapons used/tested, was the XM8, FN SCAR, HK 416 and M4. The XM8 placed 1st, the FN SCAR 2nd, and the HK 416 3rd with the M4 obviously being 4th.
According to people who have fired both weapons, they say the SCAR has less recoil (for the same caliber). Also, any gas-piston gun will have a very clean bolt after 4 mags (unlike a direct impingement gun). The SCAR family is also uses a gas-piston system.
The HK 416 is a very good weapon, it sort of combines the sturdiness and reliability of the ak 47 with the accuracy and multippel options of the M16 family. Norway has choosen it as the standard weapon in all branches along with the mp7.

Accept even Steiner, the creator of the M16 also made a gas-piston version, but the US gov't decided to take the DI M16. This has been done before and HK certainly isn't the first to do it.
H and K make the best wepons i have seen ever with less jaming proplems and less over heating issues they have inovated ideas fresh from the minds and have considered user opions 9.5/10 for the h and k company
jaming is the act of listening to music or playing music...weapons have malfunctions like fail to feed - fail to chamber - fail to lock - fail to fire - fail to unlock - fail to extract - fail to eject - fail to cock and misfire....it helps to be specific and use correct terms.
The M16 isn't great. If you want a reliable weapon system with no thought, the AK is the answer, it's cheap reliable, and fairly accurate with "no" maintenance REQUIRED. However, as a picky firearms user, I'd prefer an Alexander Arms 6.5mm 14.5" barrel with an ARES gas piston kit. Then upgrade to a heavier bolt. The HK416 isn't special really. A gas piston system in an M4. woopdedo. haha AUG is poopoo btw
I'm pretty sure >1 MoA out of a 10" barrel is something special. Combine it with the reliability and the HK416 is an incredible gun. I'd like to see you use an AK47 outside of 200 yards. The 5.56mm has way less kick and is way more accurate. Don't even get me started on stopping power. A headshot with any weapon will be a kill.
I would never be part of a testing situation of a rifle and not wear some sort of eye protection. I'm pretty sure this guy gets alot of money for being the host of this show, but, no amount of money is worth my eyes.
M16 is not the HK 416, dumbass. the HK416 is a better weapon than the m16. Hk416 is designed to move the heat away from the bolt, whereas the m16 does not. Thus, the m16 would have a higher failure rate due to heat stress as well as problems with dust and water. but with the HK416, it has been designed to withstand the sand and to clean out the inner mechanisms when fired. So research more before you spout more nonsense.

the P-90 isnt a bullpup(even though it looks like one), and it isnt an assault rifle, its a pdw, with a max range of 200 meters.
and if by FN P90 you mean FN F2000 (which is indeed a bullpup), then the jury is still out on those. they've only existed for a little over a year and have only had about 50000 produced and 700000 ordered.
im 12. firearms are the only thing i know about. bull pup designs arent too great for an assault rifle. but the steyr AUG shoots further distance then AK-47 and M16. im not an idiot, like i would say "the ak is like, the best gun out there noob!" thats what a fag would say. the p90 is a sub machine gun.

yea well thats right that it would b cheaper to get these, HK had the Armys budget in mind wen making it, that made it so the upper receiver could be used with the M4 lower receiver so we just have to get the uper receiver for this weapon, what is the army waiting for???

the short stroke piston is used by most the new rifles like the LWRC and Bushmaster ACR !! and many can do the long piston like the AK108 - FN SCAR - Robinson Armament XCR !!

Germany not only solved the US's problem, they also took the horrid L85A1 and fixed it as well. Now the L85A2 is one of the best service rifles in the world today.

Eugene Stoner came up with a piston design AR just like the 416 back in the 1960s! We rejected it though. The Germans are just selling our weapon back to us again basicly.

Yes. In July 2007, the US army did a "dust test" simulating dusty/sandy conditions. The weapons used/tested, was the XM8, FN SCAR, HK 416 and M4. The XM8 placed 1st, the FN SCAR 2nd, and the HK 416 3rd with the M4 obviously being 4th.

i think ur wrong in some parts. FN scar has more recoil then the Hk416, and the bolt is very clean, after 4 mags it will also be clean.

According to people who have fired both weapons, they say the SCAR has less recoil (for the same caliber). Also, any gas-piston gun will have a very clean bolt after 4 mags (unlike a direct impingement gun). The SCAR family is also uses a gas-piston system.

The HK 416 is a very good weapon, it sort of combines the sturdiness and reliability of the ak 47 with the accuracy and multippel options of the M16 family. Norway has choosen it as the standard weapon in all branches along with the mp7.

Accept even Steiner, the creator of the M16 also made a gas-piston version, but the US gov't decided to take the DI M16. This has been done before and HK certainly isn't the first to do it.

The M16 isn't great. If you want a reliable weapon system with no thought, the AK is the answer, it's cheap reliable, and fairly accurate with "no" maintenance REQUIRED. However, as a picky firearms user, I'd prefer an Alexander Arms 6.5mm 14.5" barrel with an ARES gas piston kit. Then upgrade to a heavier bolt. The HK416 isn't special really. A gas piston system in an M4. woopdedo. haha AUG is poopoo btw

I'm pretty sure >1 MoA out of a 10" barrel is something special. Combine it with the reliability and the HK416 is an incredible gun. I'd like to see you use an AK47 outside of 200 yards. The 5.56mm has way less kick and is way more accurate. Don't even get me started on stopping power. A headshot with any weapon will be a kill.

M16 is not the HK 416, dumbass. the HK416 is a better weapon than the m16. Hk416 is designed to move the heat away from the bolt, whereas the m16 does not. Thus, the m16 would have a higher failure rate due to heat stress as well as problems with dust and water. but with the HK416, it has been designed to withstand the sand and to clean out the inner mechanisms when fired. So research more before you spout more nonsense.

I dont think so pal, The Famas doesn't get publicity because is French made, and you know much Americans love Frenchies.
The same goes for French build fighters, they are very efective and they still dont get cover on the Military Channel, it was France who introduced the fly by wire technology and the F-16 gets all the credit.

Agreed with everyone, current state of all bullpups, they suck.
In a US army test with M16, AK47, and the Steyr AUG.
Steyer came in last.
SA-80 lol, the magazine fell out whenever they felt like it. the A2 modle is a improvment, but is still the modern M16A1 (reputation wise).
As for the Famas, it's decent to say the least, still would not choose it if I where a military commander.

the P-90 isnt a bullpup(even though it looks like one), and it isnt an assault rifle, its a pdw, with a max range of 200 meters.
and if by FN P90 you mean FN F2000 (which is indeed a bullpup), then the jury is still out on those. they've only existed for a little over a year and have only had about 50000 produced and 700000 ordered.

The P90 IS a Bullpup. It fullfils all the criteria for a bullpup (action is behind the trigger, magazine feeds behind the trigger)
The F2000 was introduced in 2001, so it's arround for nearly seven years now and has proved to be a fine weapon.

im 12. firearms are the only thing i know about. bull pup designs arent too great for an assault rifle. but the steyr AUG shoots further distance then AK-47 and M16. im not an idiot, like i would say "the ak is like, the best gun out there noob!" thats what a fag would say. the p90 is a sub machine gun.
